Yeah I think he just didn't give a poo. Like what many have said, was the kid expecting people to laugh and sit back as she burnt to death?

I really think he was so ignorant and stupid, that he thought it would be a small harmless burn that could've easily slapped away.

I wish he tried it on himself first. Should've said to the others "hey look, I'm setting my hair and clothes on fire."
