If Hiko Seijurro, given his size and raw strength, not mentioning his skills, had gone up against Shishio Makoto, do you think He would have had the same trouble as Kenshin?

I think that Hiko would have been able to take much more before going down, coz he's so damn powerful. Shishio would have been fighting him, just for pride's sake, till 15 minutes was up.

Seijuro would likely beat Makoto with little effort.

Hiko would most definetly be the winner. If he wouldn't be able to defeat Shishio with his skills, he would have absolutely last over 20 minutes with Shishio and still have plenty of power left.

Hiko's only disadvantage is that Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu is deterorating his body just like Kenshin's. That disadvantage is nothing compared to Shishio's disadvantage.

You must also take into account that Hiko is undisputabaly the most powerful character in the Kenshin universe.

i dont know when these chars are introduced into the naruto manga but they cant beat gaara sama

What the f**k

This is about the 2 most powerful characters in the Rurouni Kenshin universe, not the Naurto universe. They even have different authors dammit, let alone set in two completely different time settings and worlds

"empty your cup" mate....or is it a waste of time even telling your this?

I was just wondering...enlighten me: Hiko took the full brunt of Fuji's sword...standing. you think he knows better than to deteriorate his skills?

Hiko... it wouldn't even be tough for him. He was nailing Kenshin at will when they trained together, and unlike Kenshin, he would only need one solid blow to kill Shishio because he has a real sword.

Of course, there would be precious little drama if they did that, which is why Hiko is so seldom and briefly used in the series. If he appeared regularly he would just beat everyone easily and that would be that.

1. Hiko did not get hit by Fuji's sword. He dodged the attack and latched onto it and defeated Fuji. Hiko didn't get hit once.

2. Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu damages the body for everyone. The attacks it gives with the speed, strength, etc. put a lot of stress on the body. It affects Kenshin the worst because he is so small and his body was not meant for it. Kenshin had to give up swordsmanship by the time he was 33. It affects Hiko to, but at a much, much slower rate.

Without his skills, still Hiko would have had no problems with Shishio, Kenshin never finished his training with Hiko(which was mentioned in the series)...so...no Hiko has more experience I think anyway, and I think between the two it might be a battle of wits more than strenght...maybe.

Oh, when Hiko blocked Fuji's sword, that did not harm him one bit. You have to realise that Hiko is very strong in terms of strength, his cape alone weighs about 50 lbs, yet he still performs the way he does with it on.

Actually when Kenshin learned that Amakakeru no Hirameki from Hiko, his training in Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu was complete.

are you guys joking? Sishio taught hiko seijuro everything he knows, even though he showed an impressive skill when fighting kenshin,he's far,far away from beating his master!

Oh crap! is this Hiko the master of Kenshin? i thought you guys were talking about that other seijuro the henchmen of sishio! sorry i stand corrected.
HIKO would definitely win!

true technically Kenshin is Hiko Seijuro the 14th. Accept that he never accepted that position.

that fella is soujiro. Master Hiko is seijuro

Because he refused to be the successor of Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu, Kenshin is not Seijuro Hiko XIV. Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu will die with with Seijuro Hiko XIII with limited knowledge of it's technique known to Yahiko

That is Soujiro Seta, not Seijuro.

And Soujiro, while he would lose to Shishio if he did get into a fight with him, would present a tough challenge for Shishio on account that Soujiro knows the Sakuchi and Shishio does not. Also, while Shishio has taught Soujiro swordsmanship, Soujiro was able to develop his own unique style.

Shishio's only main advantage against Soujiro is that Shishio knows all of his moves.

Actually Sony produced the TV series and only has the rights to the anime. They own the distribution rights in Japan ONLY. They don't own any more rights to Rurouni Kenshin. They don't even own the distribution rights in the United States (Anime Works and ADV Films do).

Rights concerning the characters, the manga, a potential movie and everything in general belongs to Shonen Jump and Nobohiro Watsuki

He did block Fuji's first strike, though it's true that Fuji's full power swing missed him.

It's not really implied to be so here. Anyways, Hiko would annihilate Shishio. Even Watsuki admitted that Hiko was like the joker in a pack of cards. No one in the Kenshin universe can beat him him a duel.
