Hiko vs Shishio...How would the fight have fared?

He did block Fuji's first strike, though it's true that Fuji's full power swing missed him. It's not really implied to be so here. Anyways, Hiko would annihilate Shishio. Even Watsuki admitted that Hiko was like the joker in a pack of cards. No one in the Kenshin universe can beat him him a duel.

The fight isn't Kenshin against Shishio. It's Shishio vs. Hiko. And Hiko is the only character in the Kenshin universe who is near invincible.

I actually believe that Shishio would come out on top if he doesn't over do it. Hiko is extremely powerful but even kenshin who was going all out couldn't defeat him. Shishio was outclassing everyone and Hiko doesn't have the pure speed and agility to protect himself from shisio's attacks.

Hiko does have the speed and agility of Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu even with his 50 lbs. cape. It's god like speed is what makes it extremely powerful. Imagine Hiko without the cape. Hiko is stronger than Shishio in terms of strength, speed, stamina, and experience.
