so, they looked for a way to get quinn back and they come up with that? seriously, you would expect a secret agency to check all videos for possible clues...hilarious..

So the videos of Quinn, Carrie, and that guy who was killed by the mob went viral around the world, viewed by millions, and Quinn was the first person to notice the guy with the headset?
Yea that cringe worthy

Unless the guy running the CIA is the one who is crooked. And its the CIA, so them not bothering to look into the death of an agent who may or may not have been getting info from questionable sources is far from unbelievable. I have no problem believing the CIA might not be looking into the guys death. Clearly the show is setting up that some shady **** is going on.

Things are starting to feel like the same old, same old..which in this case, is not good.

The Quinn/Carrie relationship needs to be shot in the face before it can become Brody/Carrie 2.0.

And I am not watching Carrie fail as a Mother weekly. I dont watch a show like Homeland for that kind of ****.

The bathtub scene really made me hate her character, now i have no desire to see her succeed at anything.

That was some incredibly risky storytelling. I get that they want to make the audience question Carrie, but we already do and I get that they want Carrie to probably evolve this season and learn to love her baby. And I get that Carrie is very unstable...but you cant have your main character start the process of drowning her baby. You just cant. Especially in season 3. Especially when carrie already has so many skeletons and flaws.

Plus, it makes her sister seem very irresponsible. She knows Carrie is unstable. Why the **** would she leave the kid with her?

That was just a scene they shouldnt have went with unless their ultimate goal is to make Carrie suffer some serious Karma this season. If thats their goal and they want us to really hate her and want her to fail horribly as a human being and as a CIA Chief then they are off to a great start.

If the guy who runs the CIA is involved, shouldnt he try to get rid of all videos? Shouldnt he try to cover this up? The thing that is hilarious is the fact that they set up Quinn to see that...I mean we all know that Carrie is the crazy one that watches videos 1000 times...

Those videos were captured by the public and uploaded by civillians. That video that Quinn was watching wasnt a CIA video. The leader of the CIA cant delete every copy of the videos the public made and uploaded from their own country. He doesnt have that sort of power. No one does. Once a video is uploaded to the internet its damn near impossible to completely delete it.

And Quinn finding that guy with the earpiece in the video wasnt all that hard to buy. He was racked with guilt, and thats why he was watching it over and over.

I liked the scene it was ballsy, and I think that thought has played out in the minds of more parents than we'd like to imagine.Secondly I really can't blame the sister for leaving the baby in her hands. The women is clearly overwhelmed plus she has to deal with her own family.

Overwhelmed or not the sister lives in a country with an abundance of babysitters and daycares. She needs to accept that her sister doesn't want the kid and it's not her place to force the kid on Carrie. If she can't handle the kid then she needs to be making other safer arrangements.

And the thought of strangling an annoying child flittering through the mind of an overworked and overstressed parent is a far cry from a parent actually holding their child under water. What Carrie did was unforgivable. If she doesn't want the child she needs to tell it to her sister straight. Her sister already knows it, but she's trying to force the kid on Carrie hoping that if Carrie is forced to face the situation that she will step up to the plate and accept her responsibility which would ok if Carrie wasn't a nutcase and one mental snap away from drowning the kid.

Well, I think it is possible for a powerful agency like the CIA to put pressure on video platforms to delete videos of people getting killed. Still, if you want to cover up a mess like that, shouldnt you have people who are watching all the clips to make sure that nothing leads back to you? I'm mean you are involved, you should be more careful. That's my point.

I understand that, but it was too obvious that Quinn found it. It was clear that Quinn will be back with Carrie, but they could have handled it much better.

But that's not the first time that Homeland goes for the easy way, the quality decreased from season 2...you could actually say that the show is overrated..

Glad I stopped watching this, you guys make it sound horrible this year.

We've only had two episodes. It's not like last season Dexter bad or anything. :p Not yet anyhow.

Can they kill Carrie & make this the Quinn & Saul government cop buddies show next season ?

LOL, what did I just watch? Saw it coming but still awkward.

So glad they ended the episode at that point lol, so awkward, but so Carrie.

Carrie has no shame. The writers are doing a great job of making her revolting.

Is this something that is expected of female recruiters? :(

Carrie didn't do anything wrong in recruiting the kid since he's obviously of age being in medical school. What most people are repulsed by is woman agent doing it. It's the clear double standard where James Bond is a ladies man and a female agent is immoral.

I don't think that is peoples mindsets. Not to mention the way James Bond plays out is way different to how Homeland plays out.

Uh no. Im repulsed cause Carrie is a known crazy nutso manipulating a young man with her vagina and false promises to get him to risk his life.

And youre not repulsed by that? I dont care if he is of age. She is mind****ing him to get him to put himself in danger. I have an issue with that.

Carrie is bat**** crazy and thats exactly how the show presents her and thats exactly how the show presented this. An unstable morally destitute woman who only knows one way to get someone to work with her. Her crazy ass vagina. The idea of that young man getting that all up on him is

Put yourself in that guys shoes. How would you feel if you found out that the woman you slept with had an affair with a terrorist, tried to drown ger baby, and looks like this when she cries:

I am to a degree surprised he didn't see through her ruse. I would think that as soon as she offered herself to him like that he would know she is full of lies. Why else would she go after him when he is essentially a stranger to him?

Maybe he just really wanted to get laid. Could have been having a serious dry spell. After a certain amount of time without sex even crazy manipulative sex starts to seem like a good idea to a young man.:funny:
