No, not at all. That can get you into trouble. Its not our bodies that travel to the far reaches of the world or even the universe in order to learn knowledge, its our minds. I interpret that saying to mean that we should be open-minded enough to be willing to learn various systems of knowledge even though from other countries, or cultures, religions, etc.
