Yes, the image bears a passing resemblance to Garfield. It's a bit funny, but that's all. Don't get all offended when I wasn't even referring to you in particular.

I just found the image really odd looking when I first saw it. I couldn't quite put my hands on it until I noticed it really looked like Andrew hahah. Especially cause I've taken quite a liking to Andrew as an actor, his resemblance just seemed out of place.

But if most of you are saying that he's Dehaan with spiked hair, I'm not going to argue against it, because Repulsor has shown an image of him with a grin that looks similar to the one in the poster. not to mention that one image you posted of the goblin definitely looks like Dehaan.

I have no doubt Dehaan would make a good goblin (still not convinced he'll be THE green goblin tho). His acting in Chronicles was pretty amazing

Good points. If I wrote the movie, I’d have Goblin Jr be a AYM ‘angry young man’ who causes some mischief and maybe doesn’t get along with Gwen. Norman stomps in during movie 3, killing Gwen. Showing the father is one notch higher than the son in terms of cruelty and conviction.

Well, there was no offense intended towards you or any of your comments, I guess I was just amused by some of the "creative" theories flying around about the character.

Hahah well, my theory in particular was made with the mindset that it will be criticized or favoured. So, I'm glad you were amused either way.

I have to say, the suit looks pretty awesome from behind in the leaked trailer. Kind of reminds me of Iron Man in a sense, but the front isn't really doing me justice

I consider myself a true spider-man fan but I care about them getting the character right more than the look. Beside the suit doesn't look that bad IMO.

i understand where you guys are comming from. but in my opinion i hate how harry goblin looks
id love to see a classic look not a spiked up haired weirdo nothing about it seems gonlin like to me. i want a mask atleast looks like a slightly crazier version of sm3s goblin which sucked. i dont care bout seeing the guys face that much aint like he is competing for an oscar

He also said that Harry was never the Goblin. He was even still saying that recently and backtracking with "I didn't say that Harry didn't turn into something though" with the storyboard leaks. Yeah, it's not looking good for him. lol

He specifically said that wasn't Green Goblin. He didn't say those character descriptions weren't about a goblin, but he said they weren't about the green goblin.

As I said in the main forum, I don't give a crap about the hair. I mean I may not want Harry killing Gwen Stacy but there's other things to harp about then hair.

Granted, I don't see why they couldn't have given Harry a purple or orange hood, but it's not a big deal to me. As long as he has pointy ears, sharp teeth, and looks goblin-like, who gives a whoop-dee-doo.

Same goes for Norman... I may not want him to become a beastly Hulk-like goblin, but if he has Green Goblin-like features, I can accept it.

To me, I worry more about how both characters are portrayed than their looks.

I love Dane and you can tell he's just as psyched as any one of us would be playing such an iconic Spider-Man character, I'm so happy he got the role and I'm sure he'll do it justice.
