If you guys watched the leaked trailer, it looks like Dane will do an amazing job as Harry. That one scene where he's talking with Peter looks pretty genuine, the smile he had during that scene definitely convinced me that he'll do fine

I didn't watch the leaked trailer but Dane's performance is one of the things I'm looking forward to the most.

At first I was bummed but then i remembered way back in the 90s show when hobgoblin was introduced first before Goblin so maybe this Harry is is sorta like Hobgoblin in a way with norman being the true green goblin. Not sure.

For the most part, I agree. The writing was piss-poor through and through, and while the cast was comprised of undeniable talent, I think their performances suffered because of the vapid writing. Sally Field was about as wasted as Rene Russo in Thor '11. Talented actress, nothing to work with. I hope that won't be the case with the sequel.

I don't get why we can't ever get a real goblin looking goblin in this franchise.This goblin is basically New Goblin 2.We can have Lizard men,electricity men,sandmen,alien symbiote men,but a goblin is too much for some reason.

They could of at least gave Harry a cloak and hood and that would of made him Hobgoblin.

It's sad how a character like a Goblin, who is complex and visually even more entertaining the Joker can't get a proper treatment.
My only hope is that (since Campbell Scott and Embeth Davidtz are among the major cast) parents plot will be central to this film and while discovering some secret labs of Oscorp Spidey stumbles upon the Proto-Goblin that is Harry. Norman as true Green Goblin will become in the third film, I just wish they don't use the ultimate version.

They could have gone for a Joker kind of makeup to make the goblin IMO, not necesarly a transformation.

Peter's dad died creating the Venom suit - cancer curing edition. It lies with Eddie, since his died was partners with Richard Parker.
And instead of Eddie becoming Venom, it's Norman
..Eddie becomes Kraven or something
