World How to make the spiderman web shooters.

Thanks! Nice website you have there.:woot: WOW man you guys are freakin smart keep this things up:cwink:

Anyway since i was little i always wanted to shoot webs like my fav superhero: Spider-man i had this toy webshooter which was pretty lame and too big. So that's why i'm here.

One thing i've been thinking of is a glue gun that shoots webs which can be found on youtube and in some way put it on your wrist would be pretty cool, but one problem is the heat of a glue gun which isn't that good. So that's one idea i had then i came here and you guys had like awesome ideas with fluid and Co2 things like that. And now my ideas was just crap lol.

Thank you Specspider. This website is crawling with geniuses in their own right. As for shooting webs, I had the same problem and dream. It seems to be a weird motivation for me. I want to make them. I always have, and for some reason always return to it.

Finally, the idea being crap thing, that's not true. Every idea contributes to a collective work.

I just wanted to share a pretty nice idea, you know these web shooters from the 2012 reboot has like circular disks, and remember when peter shows diffrent modes on his web shooters in the 90's cartoon like a web spray a web line.. It would be cool to rotate those disks for diffrent modes. But make room for web fluid in those is a little unreasonable. Cuz the bands are not made of metal that contains the fluid. I think they are made of leather or something.
Otherwise it could be pretty cool! :awesome:

Oh and one question or two: How do you post a picture on this forum?
And is this thread a little bit dead? I mean where are the other guys?

You're welcome. ^^

Hmmm. I never thought of the disk rotating. That's a really good idea! I know what you're saying though.

As for the whole is this thread dead? No. This particular page/ thread is dead. (I did my best to kill it.) The other guys are on the two threads that stemmed from this one.

Thanks man! You seems to be a true genius :cwink:, and again nice website you have :whatever:

But how do you post a picture without you need to click on a link?

Aw, thank you! I stand on the shoulders of giants. As for the picture, all you have to do is go to the website where the image originates. Right click, click copy, and then come here, right click and click paste.

The thing with the picture : That was easy :awesome:
Now i understand this website better :yay:

what if this design was kept and there wuld b co2 in evry other cartrige and hav fluid in evry other cartrige. hav a tube connect to each cartrige and those tubes shoot out the webbing?

Hey, how are you? Welcome to the forums. Sorry, I never check this page. I go to two other forums. That's kind of the design for the new shooter design right?

hey its me again white widow , whats the main thread? and sorry i didnt get back to you i focused on school left this project alone. but i got another great formula idea , im going to need to buy all the stuff in this weekend. i will probably finish by the end of the week. its a good idea i think haha. i might post it up on my website friday .

hade an idea so that u dont have to put the co2 tank directly on ur wrist. theres 3 vaulves u push the co2 in with a bike inflaitor wait 3 second then take it out. do this 3 times. so that there is three tubes with compressd air then when u got your fluid u have a trigger and it lets 1 go 1 at a time

Well that sounds pretty cool! I hope that I can see your prototype. As for the valve systems, can you send me a facebook message? I'm very curious about this.

Ok guys how about this? You know how you can dissolve Styrofoam with acetone? it actually to some extent becomes sticky...it take a while to harden but when it does...its pretty impressive...also it sticks to certain plastic almost instantly....this is a subject i wanted to get into since i was little....how bout we bring the subject back? i know hot glue guns have skin burning temperatures but they seem to work well...are very sticky and have a similar look to real webs...if we could create a battery powered cobweb shooter and compressor, just maybe we will have our shooter...from there we melt the glue stick and maybe combine a chemical that could possibly increase the tensile strength of the web? sorry if im just butting in or if this idea is stupid or already had been done...this is just something i really want get involved in :P

Also notice how in the first Spider-man films, the web shooter prototypes seem like they have a heating unit....maybe they were on to something...?

I haven't been on in a while, have you guys made any progress?

Nor have I. I believe the fact that no one can swing on it kind of put people off... though it could be possible...
I've been thinking of another tube, coming straight out next to the nozzle. It would "inject" hydrogen gas into the webbing, and it would make it harden as it bonds with it. Just a guess, but it's worked so far. I also acquired the parts for the electrical piece.

Cool. I"m taking a simpler approach, I'm going to have a pre-formed web pattern, put it in a tube filled with and adhesive, then just send the propellant through the tube to shoot it out.

Hello guys! I am really new here, and if anyone can give me a hand with getting used to these boards, I have some really good ideas for the shooters, which I'll try to post soon

Helloooo! Is there anyone on this thread? I really want to help you guys! Please, somebody answer my post

Hello Mr. Spider. What's going on? I heard you had some new ideas. Welcome aboard.

hey you guys still in this? please continue this!!! i really want to help. i made a prototype that actually shoots webbing but it doesnt have any tensile strength... cmon guys lets get in this!
