I think I have figured out a good way to reboot the Fantastic Four Franchise,
I don't know if I thought of this before, or if I even already posted it once before, its possible that my mind is like a carousel that goes around and around, and around. I can tend to ramble on and on...
but I just thought of a GREAT way to reboot the Fantastic Four franchise.
An animated TV show, not just a Saturday morning cartoon.
But a Prime Time animated TV show with quality writing, and awe inspiring animation.
The show could be done in Bruce Timm level animation like Batman, Superman, Batman Beyond and JLU, but with a Jack Kirby edge to it. (Bruce Timm could even be in charge). And the writing can be great too, not that it would only be targeted to Adults though. It could be based on the Stan Lee and Jack Kirby run of the Fantastic Four. Stan Lee, if he wanted to, could even be the narrator.
Here is an idea of what it could look like, some FF pics by Timm in the Kirby style:
About the Animation style:
Just because the character designs could have a Jack Kirby influence doesnt mean the animation style would be like Minorateam (spelling?) or limited in anyway. I would like the animation to be as fluid as Timms JLU cartoon show. I dont mean that I would expect Disney or Pixar level detail and quality for a TV show, just that it could be as good on animation as the Simpsons are.
The coloring would be big and bright like the comic. The backgrounds would be (like the Clerks cartoon) sharp and graphic, and would also be Kirby like detailed.
I have more ideas but I need time to sort them into an organized and understandable fashion.
I like this idea so much I might just create a thread for it in the Fan Fiction section, like I did with my live action X-Men TV series.
