Okay, I've been seeing that question asked a lot. Is it just not conveyed well in the trailer when Odin himself bellows "I take away your power and I cast you out!"?
At the end of the first tv spot. Also which ever one my Avvy is in he IS flying there.which TV spot has him flying??,I haven't seen that!
It appears that Thor uses Mjolnir to spin like a propeller boost into the air and then flies with Mjolnir wrapped around his wrist .
I think it's the start of it, before it's completely formed or maybe it's more hurricane than tornado.![]()
To those who have seen it, how does he fly? Like Superman? Does he use the hammer to fling himself? or is it like MUA2 where the hammer glows blue and give him flight?
I've seen a lot of different interpretations and I've never known what was the correct one.![]()
Probably because the others couldn't fly or he was reserving what ever energy he needed for battle.Saw it earlier.......... it was very Superman.
One big ? mark for me over a superb movie, was why he just didnt fly for the first 2/3 of the film (when fully powered) yet instead rode horses ? After that he just did it second nature as though he were Kryptonian.

Hi. Brand new fan due to extreme liking of the Thor movie, which is probably why I've seen it three times now. In awe of all the good discussion here.
I wondered that too, but assume it was to introduce and show off the bridge to good effect, to keep Thor with the warriors, who maybe can't fly, and also to set up the horse gag for later on?
