Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. How would you improve the show?

I think as others that;

- They need a superpowered teammate (not Skye)
- There should be cameo's by A listers (not to much)
- When the new shows hit the air there should be crossovers
and the others shows should be mentioned.

1) Drop the entire cast and crew and disband SHIELD
2) Bring back Sif
3) Rehire Coulson
4) Replace the bus with a van
5) Sif and Coulson drive around in the van solving mysteries
6) Profit

Pretty much. And not entirely in jest. Coulson and Sif as a buddy team would have my attention, not just my curiosity.

The problem I have with this show is that I don't like the characters on a fundamental level, and everything they do to try improve the characters falls flat with me, because the foundation is weak. No matter how good the story gets, I'm still kinda like 'Man... why these guys?'

That will sap the fx budget and the main point of this show was about how the average joes dealt with everything that's going on around them.

I know man. I like the direction the show is going but the cast of characters just ain't that good, especially Skye. Why didn't they use established Marvel SHIELD characters? It's sad but I don't see this show lasting another season.

You don't have to use the actual Avengers. I can guarantee you the Defenders do a lot better in ratings than this show..............and it's on Netflix.

That's the other thing that's interesting, who any given fan hates specifically is variable. Skye is my second fav, and it's FitzSimmons that are especially horrendous to me.

Looking at the show again, I actually like the new people. I liked Trip already just for not being everyone else, but Mack, random rogueish charming guy who's name I can't remember, and Bobbi Morse are wonderful. They seem to me like they are SHIELD agents, in the same way May does. More of this makes it hard to dislike the show. Now all they have to do is grab me and I'll be watching every week again.
