how would you reboot justice league?

Flashpoint is where this starts allowing us to make the changes we need with tone and character of the movies. this lets us change things like Lex or Superman killing Zod bringing things more in keeping with what people expected from these movies. from there you just role out the movies anew with the new continuity.

Flashpoint
Wonder Woman 84
Aquaman 2
Shazam 2
The Batman
The Suicide Squad

and then fallow that up with a new Justice League movie

Flashpoint is somewhere they can go to rectify previous mistakes, but they’re only going to get one chance at Flashpoint, and they can’t screw it up.

If WB ever decide to reboot the Justice League they need to get Flashpoint right - there’s no room for error.

That being said, Flashpoint is only a reset to comic book fans, as they’re the only ones that’re gunna appreciate what’s going on. For the casual viewers, it’ll probably be easier just to hard reboot the entire thing, save an overly complex soft reboot.

it worked for the X-Men movie with Days of Future Past. they just need to not mess it up.

The X-Men movies haven’t exactly taken off since though, have they?

Flashpoint, and whatever DCEU that follows needs to set the foundation for several years (a decade or two?) to come.

no but thats more mismanagement on FOXs part then it is on story. Flashpoint can work its the fallow up that needs to be worked on.

Marvel worked because they had an end point for there movies

Didn't they say Flashpoint was going to be different to what we're expecting? It's probably gonna be a generic time travel story

It does beg the question tho: why even call it Flashpoint is that's the case?

The simple solution to the Batman problem is simple. Just cast another actor and say he's carrying over from Affleck. Much better than them trying to shoehorn in Pattinson. They'll be no confusion as long as WB gets off their ass and tells people what the deal is

I wouldn't.

I would focus on other stuff for now.

Still think a high budget animated Justice League theatrical film should happen. Get Bruce Timm/Paul Dini involved. Could be fun. Especially bringing back the original voice cast.

I'd still go with this...
I'd actually be interested in seeing a League comprised of members with ancient, mythological and/or mystical (without going to the more sorcerous extremes of something like JL Dark) connotations:
- Wonder Woman (leader)
- Aquaman
- Shazam in lieu of Superman
- Hawkgirl in lieu of Batman
- Metamorpho in lieu of Cyborg
- Blue Beetle (Jaime Reyes) in lieu of Flash
...hinting at multiple Justice Leagues over the course of the movies leading up to it (America, International, Dark, etc.) as evil forces keep coming out of the woodwork all over the planet, thus we can call this one JLA; and give them a big bad with similarly ancient connections *koff*Vandal Savage*koff* rather than yet another Grumpy CGI Space Tyrant Of The Week. If anybody asks, I'd say that Batman and Superman have their own possible future movi-er, I mean, problems going on, Batman abroad *koff*Batman And Son*koff* and Clark in Metropolis *koff*Krisis Of The Krimson Kryptonite*koff*

I just can’t get behind a Justice League movie without Batman and Superman. I don’t support that idea at all. Those two are 60% of why I enjoy reading/watching stories about the Justice League.

If they use that approach with a Justice League reboot it more or less sets things right but you can also build towards an Infinity War type event but in the DCEU but building towards Darkseid as your Thanos

i would like to see them do CIE as the build up for a phase of movies. then after the worlds are condensed into one you could have Darkseid show up looking for the antilife equation on the new earth in the new phase.

That would be awesome

I originally had this posted in a Superman thread for a sequel, but admittedly, it evolved into a trilogy of films with a JL reboot film included, so I'm sharing here as well.

The idea is that a Superman trilogy would interconnect to a larger DCEU with a Supergirl film, villain-centric Luthor film, & Justice League film based on "Crisis on Infinite Earths."

This breakdown is Superman-focused but shouldn't be interpreted as the DCEU should exclude additional solo adventures from other heroes. Post-Credit scenes tease at the larger universe, and if you read through, you'll see references to a potential Green Lantern Corp. film serving as added set-up to Justice League, and launch a time-traveling Booster Gold adventure.

SUPERMAN
based on “Secret Origins” + “Birthright”
directed by James Mangold
  • Film opens with a monologue delivered by Jonathan Kent: "The world's super man. My son, Clark..."
  • Clark is a traveling freelance reporter, using his powers discreetly (or as best he can). At the opening, we find Clark in West Africa covering a peaceful revolution headed by Kobe Asuru. When Asuru is assassinated, Clark journeys to Metropolis to investigate the connection to Intergang, and LexCorp.
  • John Corben is top Intergang lieutenant beneath Bruno Manhneim & Morgan Edge. The organization is quickly absorbing other Metropolis crime factions, and secretly funded by Lex Luthor who is conspiring to tighten his grip on the city. After an initial encounter w/ Superman, Corben is augmented into Metallo, the film's main antagonist. Rudy Jones, a lowly janitor at STAR Labs, transforms into the monstrous Parasite to become the secondary antagonist. Two antagonists who are slowly losing their humanity...
  • Both Lois & Jimmy learn Superman’s secret identity as they help him into Jimmy’s mom’s van, aiding his escape from Metallo in an explosive encounter (in a twist, Lois saves Superman in their first direct meeting on fillm).
  • Clark's backstory is told via flashback & conversation w/ his parents, Jonathan and Martha Kent. Clark has limited knowledge of Krypton--only the rocket hidden in the family's farm, and a recorded message from Jor-El & Lara.
  • At the end of the film, Mannheim takes the fall publicly, thanks to Luthor's manipulations--and Morgan Edge becomes leader of Intergang.
  • Superman is able to contain Parasite & defeat Metallo, stepping into his role as Metropolis' protector. He's an inspiration, and the film ends with Superman onward to save the day again.
  • POST CREDIT SCENE: Clark Kent enters his apartment, quickly realizing it's been broken into. Batman (Robert Pattinson) emerges from the shadows (we tease their first introduction to each other in this new DCEU.)

SUPERMAN: FOR TOMORROW

based on “Brainiac”
directed by James Mangold
  • In this sequel, further explore Krypton & it's destruction by way of Supergirl crash landing on Earth!
  • Brainiac detects the presence of Kal-El and Kara and targets Metropolis. He is a techno-alien, (an amalgamation of Geoff Johns' interpretation w/ STAS) who bottles cities and then destroys the planet, intent on being the sole collector of all recorded existence.
  • Lex Luthor uses this opportunity to booster his public image and helps Superman & Supergirl to defeat the invading armies of Brainiac & his Skull Ship.
  • Steel is introduced (a STAR labs research assistant who uses a suit of his own—complete with an ‘S’ emblem to honor Superman for saving him in the previous film— to defend the city from Brainiac as Superman journeys to outer space to fight the villain head-on)
  • In the film's climax, Jonathan Kent dies a hero after protecting his home from Brainiac drones before suffering a heart attack.
  • POST CREDIT SCENE: Superman arrives at the Bat Cave. Batman is replaying news footage of the Brainiac attack on Metropolis. Superman remarks that they need to be ready; that they need a league. Batman, seeing Steel & Supergirl in the clips, comments that it looks like he's already started. Batman smiles, "So have I." The cave's air hangar opens, seemingly to the open night sky. An invisible jet hatch opens up. Enter Wonder Woman (Ana de Armas).
LUTHOR
spin-off feature similar to American Gangster or Goodfellas
directed by J.C. Chandor
  • The film's plot is centered on the aftermath of Brainiac invasion. Similar to 'No Man's Land' (but replace Gotham w/ Metropolis), Luthor is looking to rebuild the city, and thereby control it. Behind the scenes, he is toying with running for political office. ("'Mayor?' Think bigger.")
  • Returning characters from Superman and DCEU films appear--this film is standalone in nature, but still uses preexisting characters. Standouts include Daily Planet staff & Metropolis PD— Det. Turpin is murdered as he investigates LexCorp.
  • Robert Pattinson cameos as Bruce Wayne
  • Morgan Edge returns w/ a large role as the head of Intergang. He and Luthor are allies after the end of Superman, but Luthor eventually turns on him as well.
  • Film culminates in classic philosophical debate with Superman hovering outside the office window (as seen in Lex Luthor: Man of Steel and/or STAS)

JUSTICE LEAGUE: CRISIS
based on “Crisis on Infinite Earths”
directed by JJ Abrams
  • Film is book-ended with narration from ghostly Spectre foretelling the cosmic implications.
  • Lex Luthor has assembled a Legion of Doom (featuring villains from previous DCEU films) against the new Justice League: Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Steel, Flash, Aquaman, & Supergirl.
  • Bombastic opening action sequence highlight Barry Allen (Joe Alwyn, having already been introduced in Andy Muschietti’s Flashpoint! movie) and Aquaman (Taron Edgerton).
  • Steve Trevor (Michael B. Jordan) serves as the League's military liasion (Trevor will have already appeared in a Wonder Woman film directed by Niki Caro loosely based on Greg Rucka’s “The Lies” storyline, serving as a reboot for the character).
  • Alexander Luthor, of a parallel Earth, arrives to warn of impending cosmic calamity, and unite the remaining worlds against this looming threat. (In this film universe, J.J. Abrams will have directed a Green Lantern Corps. film immediately preceding this film centered on the Sinestro Corp War & the villain's banishment to Qward which will inevitably spur the awakening of the ancient Anti-Monitor (Luke Evans)).
  • The League & Legion of Doom work to stop the Anti-Monitor & his new ally in Sinestro (Kevin Bacon). The Green Lantern Corp arrive to fight for the multiverse, with Hal Jordan (Tom Cruise) & rookie John Stewart (Stephan James).
  • Future DCEU 'Elseworlds' projects can be backdoor piloted, (i.e. return to Burtonverse, Justice Society of America, Snyder-verse, etc.)
  • In homage to original comic story, Supergirl ‘dies.' in a battle mid-film after she is struck by the Anti-Matter -- her body vaporizes.
  • True to form, Luthor & the Legion betray the League mid-fight as Luthor attempts to craft the multiverse in his vision.
  • In the climatic battle at the birth of reality, Hal Jordan heroically sacrifices himself and restores the fractured multiverse. John Stewart becomes sole Green Lantern (for the time being!)
  • POST CREDIT SCENE: Supergirl is not dead, but opens her eyes and finds herself in the 31st century! As she looks outside the window, amidst the flying cars & future tech, a statue stands erected in memory of her...

SUPERGIRL
spin-off adventure with the Legion of Super-Heroes in the 31st century
directed by Reed Morano
  • Kara is trying to get back home to her own time, and along the way develops a bond with the Legion, especially Brainiac 5
  • Fatal Five are the main antagonists, with Emerald Empress & Tharok leading the team.
  • At the film's climax, Kara does find her way home, and has a moment to talk with her cousin, Superman. She ultimately decides to stay in the 31st century, as it feels more like home (Krypton) than Earth ever did.
  • POST CREDIT SCENE: Funny scene involving Booster Gold (Channing Tatum) & Skeets time-hopping into the 31st century. They realize they're in the wrong spot and quickly time-hop away (set up Booster Gold solo film directed by Jason Bateman where the hero crosses paths with two generations of Blue Beetle: Ted Kord (Jason Bateman) and Jamie Reyes (Xolo Maridueña).)

SUPERMAN: KINGDOM COME
based on “What’s So Funny About Truth, Justice, and the American Way?” (with select elements from Kingdom Come)
directed by James Mangold
  • In the wake of Crisis, the League has expanded to Justice League Unlimited numbers (opportunity here to feature obscure cameos & power-sets like Red Tornado or Shining Knight), with the league operating out of an orbiting satellite Watchtower.
  • Manchester Black is the main villain (effectively the Magog in this adaptation, leading The Elite that represent the ‘heroes of tomorrow’). He challenges the League's authoritarian law & order--they lord over the world as its constant watchers, yet are soft on the criminals they've sworn to protect Earth against.
  • Lex Luthor is in prison after Crisis and his connection to Intergang and the Legion of Doom (courtesy of a Daily Planet expose by Lois Lane).
  • Manchester & the Elite begin to kill super villains across the DCEU, acting as judge & jury, gaining public's support & other young heroes. When he targets Luthor during a prisoner transport (in response to growing threats), Superman protects his sworn enemy, and the public turn their backs on the Man of Steel.
  • Wonder Woman, and additional JL characters appear throughout -- Superman stands in the middle, trying to stop the warring factions of heroes.
  • The film culminates in Superman returning, to remind the world about Truth & Justice.
  • Superman addresses the world press (Lois included) flanked by an impressive lineup of fellow Leaguers in front of the new Earth-based Hall of Justice in Washington DC. He places his glasses on this face, and introduces himself to the world as Clark Kent (usher in new era of Superman telling with new trilogy).
  • POST CREDIT SCENE: Far away in space, Darkseid sits in his throne room, eyes glowing fiery red...

Although my proposed DCEU Justice League relaunch features both Crisis & the Legion of Doom in one movie, there's plenty of opportunity in sequels to 'go bigger' as is the usual case:

JUSTICE LEAGUE II: DIVIDED WE FALL
based on "Tower of Babel" & "Infinite Crisis" / "The OMAC Project"
directed by Matthew Vaughn
  • Primary antagonist: Maxwell Lord (Denzel Washington) w/ Brother Eye
  • New Leaguers: Green Arrow (Jack Lowden) & Black Canary (Alicia Vikander)
  • The League is immobilized by Batman's protocols against them after Batman's secret orbiting satellite, Brother Eye, is hijacked by Maxwell Lord. After seeing the infinite realities of the multiverse in Crisis, Batman wanted to be ready for all eventualities.
  • Green Arrow & Robin (Levi Miller) work together & they are both key to aiding the League as both aren't accounted for in the Brother Eye protocols (Arrow because he's too new, Robin because he's Robin)
  • The film builds to an iconic fight amongst the trinity: Superman (controlled by OMAC) vs. Wonder Woman & Batman. Wonder Woman kills Lord (which will inform her next solo film -- the woman made from clay isn't so perfect after all)
  • Brainiac is the surprise villain when it's revealed it has corrupted Brother Eye & the OMAC Sentinels to destroy the Earth.
  • The league rallies to defeat Brainiac, but remains fractured as a result of the trinity's fall out. They all go their separate ways...
  • POST CREDIT SCENE: Amanda Waller (Regina King) jump-starts Project Cadmus in response to Wonder Woman's public slaying of Maxwell Lord. We get quick glimpses of things to come in the laboratory including salvaged Brainiac tech.
JUSTICE LEAGUE III: TWILIGHT OF THE GODS
based on "Final Crisis" & "DCeased"
directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts
  • Primary antagonist: Darkseid (Idris Elba) & forces of Apokolips
  • The League is splintered after the events of Divided We Fall when Apokolips invades Earth (after the events of Crisis, the center of the the multiverse shifted to Earth, and with it the key to the Anti-Life Equation).
  • Miracle Man (Dylan O’Brien) and Barda (Laura Harrier) arrive from New Genesis to assist in the fortification of Earth (Fourth World characters and lore will have been introduced in Ava Duvernay’s film series).
  • The main wave of the invasion is in Metropolis, with Darkseid’s throne ship hovering overhead. Boom tubes similarly open in China, South America, Egypt, & Europe, and the core leaguers lead teams of other heroes from DCEU to fight the waves of invasion.
  • The Guardians reject John Stewart’s plea for them to aid—the Earth will have to face its end alone. Stewart leaves, but Guy Gardner (Zac Efron) joins him along with other standout lanterns: Kilowog (John C. Reilly), Tomar-Re (Dev Patel) and Katma Tui (Alexandra Shipp), all of whom will have been introduced in the Green Lantern Corps franchise helmed by Travis Knight.
  • Superman inspires the world w/ a rousing speech that's broadcast across the globe from Metropolis (inspired by his speech to soldiers & heroes heading against The Centre in Cooke's "New Frontier").
  • Project Cadmus launches Brainiac drones & Skull Ship (salvaged from second Superman film) & Parasite clones (from first Superman film) to aid in fight against Parademons.
  • Solovar (voice of Kelsey Grammer) & Gorilla City aid in the fight (having previously been introduced in a Flash sequel released post- Justice League: Crisis titled Flash & Green Lantern: The Brave & the Bold directed by Andy Muschietti featuring the two Leaguers partnering to defeat Gorilla Grodd (Jared Harris)).
  • Batman leads squadron of Outlaws, including Green Arrow and Black Canary directly to Apokolips through an open boom tube portal to confront Darkseid head-on. Along the way, the group allies with the New Gods and Orion (Winston Duke). As in "Final Crisis," Batman is struck by Darkseid's Omega beam. Green Arrow forces the team to retreat as they become overwhelmed.
  • The Spectre, sensing the League’s fall, brings them all together and reveals his identity: Hal Jordan! He saved this universe in Crisis so that they could all live—now they need to save the universe. Hal uses his power to bring them the League between Darkseid and the Anti-Life Equation moments before it’s in his grasp.
  • They're tired and broken— the League falls quickly to the New God and Anti-Life sweeps the Earth.
  • In the final hour, Aquaman and his wife Mera (Sophie Turner) join Atlantean sorcerers along with Doctor Fate (Marwan Kenzari) to cast Atlantis away from this plane of existence & save it from falling (Doctor Fate will have been introduced in a prior Aquaman release directed by Jon M. Chu as an ally in an adaptation of Joe Kelly & Doug Mahnke's Obsidian Age -- a story in which Atlantis is stolen through time. This DCEU Aquaman will be heavy in magic & fantasy). As the portal begins to close, Arthur tells Mera he must stay & fight for Earth. But she has to lead the people of Atlantis. After an emotional farewell, Mera and Atlantis disappear.
  • In the final moments, we watch as the Earth succumbs to Darkseid's will, with Superman & Wonder Woman falling in line...
  • POST-CREDIT SCENE: Batman is alive & finds himself in prehistoric times. We see him drawing a bat symbol in a dimly lit cave.
JUSTICE LEAGUE IV: NEW WORLD ORDER
based on "Rock of Ages", and the spirit of Morrison's "New World Order"
directed by Jordan-Vogt Roberts
  • Primary antagonist: Darkseid & forces of Apokolips (including Anti-Life Leaguers)
  • Set 6 months after Twilight of the Gods.
  • The trinity is gone (Batman lost in time, Wonder Woman & Superman both slaves to Anti-Life), and anti-life continues to spread across the cosmos with Darkseid claiming Earth as New Apokolips.
  • Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman, Arrow & Black Canary remain, with Steel & Lois Lane leading a resistance on the ground. Robin has graduated to Nightwing.
  • The League's using the Watchtower as a hideout again (it's is in process of being dismantled after events of Superman: Kingdom Come).
  • Lantern has been infected w/ Anti-Life but it takes the full energy of the ring to stave off the infection. Because of this, John Stewart is w/o the power of his ring and relies on his training as United States Marine to keep up w/ his fellow Leaguers.
  • Additional human resistance: Static Shock (Caleb McLaughlin) & Lex Luthor in an armor suit. Jessica Cruz (Herizen Guardiola) has a small role, teasing things to come for the greater DCEU
  • Flash & Booster Gold, with Skeets’ guidance, have been working to create the Cosmic Treadmill to travel through time & space in their desperate quest to save Earth from Darkseid.
  • In their travels, the rag-tag league collects Batman, who has been battling his way through time, currently in the American Wild West amidst an an adventure with Jonah Hex (Logan Marshall-Green). Additionally, they pluck Princess Diana from the time before she left Paradise Island, and a Superman from another time--happily married to Lois Lane and with a young son, Jonathan.
  • Flash's extraneous use of the Cosmic Treadmill causes him to succumb to the Speed Force, and he perishes having brought this Justice League together to face against annihilation.
  • Supergirl & the Legion of Superheroes feature heavily.
  • Wonder Woman is stirred free from Anti-Life by her younger, more-optimistic self.
  • And Superman sees a life as a father, and turns against Darkseid's control.
  • Lex Luthor's story comes to a close when he is slain by Darkeseid in the final battle. He dies in Lois Lane’s arms on the battlefield, fighting with his city of Metropolis & LexCorp building shining on the horizon.s
  • The tides of the final battle are turned when Mera & the forces of Atlantis return to Earth to fight, and Aquaman is reunited with his queen. Likewise, the Amazons of Paradise Island join too & rally behind their princess. And, finally, the full might of the Green Lantern Corps.
  • After the climatic battle against the New God, Superman defeats Darkseid by flying him directly into the sun, which severs his Anti-life hold on reality. The overexposure to the radiation burns the Man of Steel out. He doesn't die, but he's depowered (the implication is that, for future films, it'll be during this depowered time that Clark & Lois are able to conceive).
  • End montage to showcase the DCEU returning to normalcy.
  • Aquaman gives the crown to Mera, ushering a new age of Atlantis.
  • In Central City, Wally West (Jaeden Martell) dons the mask of the Flash. And so, the legacy continues...
  • POST CREDIT SCENE: Bruce Wayne, Clark Kent, & Diana Prince sit down at Planet Krypton to catch up -- the implication that a new generation of Justice League has arisen (but purposefully kept vague to not limit sequel potential)

My approach is likely problematic as it sounds like Reeve is planning on going in a grounded direction with Batman reminiscent of Nolan, but I would ideally use his Batman movie as the starting point for a rebooted DCEU.

I'd still let the current Wonder Woman and Aquaman franchises run there course, but I'd still set about establishing Pattison's Batman in his own series, while also developing reboots of Superman and Green Lantern. As well as scrapping Ezra Miller's Flash movie and going in a different direction with him with a new actor. I wouldn't rush into a new Justice League film. I'd prefer a slightly slower approach than what Marvel did with the Avengers and let these new versions of Batman, Superman, GL, and Flash develop in their own solo films for a sequel or two before teaming them up.

When it comes time to revisit the Justice League, I'd take a cue from the 00's cartoon and introduce new versions of WW and Aquaman there. In fact the first episode could probably serve as a good basis as far as plot goes. Though I kinda would prefer using Starro as the villain as a nod to him being the first villain the team faced in the comics as opposed to the White Martians. I kinda liked how Marvel did that themselves with the first Avengers film by using Loki.

This would be a direct sequel to 2017 Justice League but my approach to it would be like this:

Movie starts a few years after the first film. The Justice League are pretty much at "Avengers"-type status and popularity like think when The Avengers first formed and they were on everyone's radar. The same thing for JL with them being on everyone's radar and the whole public not only knows about them but loves them. All criminals and or terrorist groups know about the Justice League too and so does the American government. The team is much bigger now and features a roster consisting of the first six members (recast Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Flash and Cyborg) along with the additions of Shazam, Martian Manhunter, Green Lanterns Hal Jordan and John Stewart, Hawkgirl and Green Arrow.

At this point, Lex Luthor has officially assembled his Legion of Doom, which consists of villains for almost every hero: Deathstroke for Batman, Metallo and Bizarro for Superman, Cheetah for Wonder Woman, Gorilla Grodd and Captain Cold for The Flash, Black Manta for Aquaman, Sinestro for the Green Lanterns and Black Adam and Dr. Sivana for Shazam.

Early in the film, Deathstroke attacks the Justice League headquarters (Watchtower) with a team of freelance assassins. They cause tons of damage to the Hall of Justice but are swiftly defeated by the League except for Deathstroke, who escapes. The League are relieved and glad it's over, but Batman seems wary of the situation. Taking them down seemed almost too easy. Without notifying the rest of the League, Bruce alone goes down into the Hall of Justice's lower level, where he secretly hooks up a flash-drive to the mainframe of the computer and downloads some files onto it. He goes back to the Batcave and sees Alfred who has been brutally attacked. Alfred then points to where the Kryptonite spear should be, and it is gone. Bruce at this point is in a rage.

Bruce hooks up the flash drive to the Bat-Computer and finds out that a certain folder of files, labeled "contingency", has been apparently wiped clean. And, while he's in the Batcave, the Legion start to attack each Justice League member. Hawkgirl and Green Arrow are taken out swiftly by Black Adam and Deathstroke, and the other members are defeated in unique ways by the other Legion members. The Green Lanterns' rings are disabled by Sinestro. Dr. Sivana forces Shazam to say the word and revert to his child form. The Flash is subdued by Grodd and frozen by Captain Cold. Wonder Woman is tied up in her own lasso by Cheetah. Aquaman is dehydrated by Black Manta, who then proceeds to torch Martian Manhunter. And finally, Superman is bludgeoned by the Kryptonite spear. However, Luthor doesn't want Superman dead just yet. All of the League members are taken back to Luthor's base which is Steppenwolf's old Hive and placed in special cells that use their weaknesses against them if they try to escape.

Batman finally tracks Luthor's Legion there, and he is prepared even if he is by himself as a lone ranger type using the Legion's weaknesses against them. However, Luthor uses some of Brainiac's technology to control the League into going on a worldwide rampage. Batman defeats them all, but at a cost. The League is defunded by the government, and each one of them blames one another for everything that transpired. Luthor is put back in prison, but he knows that "something bigger" awaits them.

Post-credits scene: Desaad informs Darkseid that the heroes of earth have separated and are now vulnerable. Darkseid says "Plot a course for earth. We need to get...the equation."

Didn't they say Flashpoint was going to be different to what we're expecting? It's probably gonna be a generic time travel story
They keep changing their minds with what they seem to be thinking about the Flash film. I can almost guarantee that the final product won’t be any script we’ve got at the moment.

If they’ve got any sense, they’ll do a Flashpoint film which allows for Patterson’s Batman and a newly cast Superman, thus entering a new DCEU. The only character that would be any wiser would be Barry Allen.

I wouldn't.

I would focus on other stuff for now.
Thats all good and well, but eventually they’re going to have to do something, thus the original question remains.
