Couldn't have said it better myself, though I hate his stuff moreso than the man. I'm one of the few that is incredibly doubtful that it's 100% the studio's fault that his scripts are horrid.

i hope so too but i would have thought he could handle these types of things

nah, he didnt seem eager at all and i didn't buy his whole 'i was a marvel kid' routine.

No actual marvel kid would be ashamed to tell their closest and dearest that they are going to be in and writing a film about a character they grew up with and loved.

it all seemed somewhat staged. I might give him he would be slightly overwhelmed by this sort of thing since he had never done it before but this is a world class actor here and it looked like it was his first acting gig.

he didn't once convince me that he was going to sell me the hulk we all deserved, especially with those references to it being fairly heavily based off the tv show with tidbits from the comics.

I also understand what he meant about origins and he happened to blankett most superhero movies although quite a few have neglected to tell origin tales.

He was a Marvel Kid, he ever said that. Since he was on the set of "The Illusionist" and has a day-dream about making a movie on "Dr. Strange" with Giamatti directing it(another "Marvel Kid"). Norton's favorites are The Defenders(in which there was The Hulk and Dr Strange) and he didn't like DC Comics(God, YEAH!).
All this was said a long time before he was casted on TIH.
And then He said "There were certain people in my life that I thought I would say, (in soft tone) "I'm going to do The Incredible Hulk"... this does not mean that him is ashamed... I am actually a Marvel Kid and sometimes I'm a little ashamed to tell that my favorite character is The Incredible Hulk, because many people believes that is just kid stuff.
