If your a realist, than realize that Hulk arms and legs would have to be pinned down long enough for Superman to cut off his arms and legs with his heat vision. Realistically Superman would not beable to hold him still long enough to do that.

I am being a realist. Superman has the accuracy enough to hit hulk on the run with a direct laser beam blast. He doesnt have to be pinned down

If they ever got into a beam struggle between the 2 Cyclops would win because he can keep his eyes open, and superman's heat vision would run out after an unknown amount of time

Thats also why Superman's heat vision would not beable to cut off Hulk's limbs. Hulk's healing factor would constantly be working against the heat vision, plus he would be getting more angry every second, which would make it harder to hold him down. So again, Superman's heat vision, would proabaly do something to Hulk but nothing that would matter, except pisshim off.

You talk like Hulk's durability and healing factor are non-exsitent. Your realy not being a realist.

Superman can channel it for one big blast that would do the job, he just wouldnt be shooting it at hulk if it had no affect. It would be 4 short huge blast that would destroy the hulk's limbs

maybe but cyclops absorbs solar energy and directs it out his eyes so in other word there both powered by the sun that would last awhile

He wins because he can keep his eyes open? Superman can't do that? Why would his beams run out after a unknown amount of time?

Have you been snorting that crack you bought at Target again? Because if you have, that's not crack.

baka.

Superman has a limit on how much heat vision he can use at any given amonut of time. As long as cyclops keeps his eyes open his optimic blast is unlimited.

I see you know some japanese.
Is your real name Kenneth. Me and a guy I know used to use the word baka very commonly out of fun.

Again you act like Hulk's durability and healing factor are non-exsistant, you talk like he's Aunt May or something.

Why didn't Superman do that against Doomsday?

Sorry to go off topic but it makes my point. Cell and Buu in DBZ have far superior healing factors, they actually can regenerate. But both died in huge explosions. Superman could do the same to hulk but just focus on his limbs using his heat vision.

And the reason superman didnt use it against doomsday because he isnt a fighting genuis like the DBZ counterparts are.

It's a logical assumption based on the chars and their potential abilities

Jplaya turning this thread into another platinum thread.

Someone on this site said that the humantorch hurt Hulk severely before without going supernove.
Recently the Torch went supernova and it didn't do anything to the Hulk.

I doubt it. Hulk has never been shown as being hurt by heat in any substantial way.
Correct, and Superman's heat vision didn't do anything to Hulk in one fight they had.

Sloth7d said:
Well Cyclops optic blast destroyed wolverines adumantium hand in one alternate time frame. If supes heat vision is even close to Scotts optic blast I'd say he could do it, but I doubt he would.
Anything can happen in alternate times, but in continuity, Cyclops beams haven't hurt the Hulk as far as I know.
