I'm working on a comic book and its my first time. I've written dozens of short stories and the like, but never a comic book and for that matter I've never made one that will be (hopefully) marketed and sold. Does anybody out there have any tips?

Find a publisher, and be prepared to make many drafts and revisions.

Be ready for rejection. An author can be rejected by dozens of publishers before he or she gets an offer to publish the book. At comic con this year, I talked with a guy that just now got his concept bought (by Marvel I think). Anyway, it took him over ten years from idea to actual publication.

I dont want to discourage you, but just being honest.

Yeah...Rejection is huge...Gotta always be ready to bounce back and accept and listen to criticism...Don't get down and out first try!

Those are all really good pointers, thanks. I'm thinking of setting up a website and kinda distributing from the net and see how that works for now
