Heh, cool that this is alread MG affiliated, as my person is as well. This is a character in a MGS short story I'm writing so I might as well be him.
NAME: Twilight Star
SUPER POWERS (IF ANY): Cool white fire coming out of hands
ORIGIN: He was born James Harper to a woman named Laura and a man named Bill in the middle of the Soviet Union. However Laura died of pnemonia when he was three. His father raised him. He joined the army after his mother's death and was acknowledged as one of the most skilled soldiers in all of Russia. He even became a member of Spetznaz.
But all was not perfect. Him being away so often put stress on their relationship but they were still close. Eventually, they snuck out of the USSR and my father became a mercenary for hire, taking place in many wars in Africa and Asia including the Mercenary War of Zanzibar.
On the day he got his degree, his father died. It was his last mission. His name codename was Red Blaster. He was murdered with a grenade in Zanzibar Land by a FOXHOUND operative named Solid Snake.
Twilight Star was devestated. He drove myself into a deep depression, drowning my sorrow and despair with alcohol and drugs. Though after a while, he began to pick up where he left off. He was trained by some of the world's best mercenary groups.
Then two years ago, he met Doctor Carroll for the first time. Doctor Carroll was a former part of NASA and created the project that turnt Kyle Schneider into Black Ninja, a Zanzibar Land mercenary (and eventually was used as the basis to turn former FOXHOUND agent Frank Jaeger into Cyborg Ninja). They were part of an experiment secretly funded by the US Goverment to see if they could illegally create a chemical to not only make the human body resistant to flames but to use it to their advantage, making them stronger. But there were side effects.
After this, he and Doctor Carroll started an underground terrorist group named Red Sun devoted to bringing Big Boss's dream a reality. Or at least that's what Doctor Carroll wants. Twilight Star is dying from the side effects and his mission in life is to build a Metal Gear if for no other reason than to bring Solid Snake out of hiding and get revenge for Red Blaster, his father (and who Red Sun's named after).
