This is just plain frilly looking. Not to mention how absurd the hood looks without any cape to justify the hood's size. He's in a dancing position plain and simple, probably because they "intended" to give him a deep space effect with him being in motion, but they obviously failed at it. His hand being in front doesn't help anything either, considering that it resembles a Michael Jackson glove. This is just plain sad. Instead of a worm's eye view looking up at him in a proud, haughty, honorably glorious, menacing, Doomlike stance, they've got him spinning on one foot with a Jacko glove glooking hand wearing a suit that's fitting for the Broadway stage vibe!? ...... or something. Maybe I can't point out the exact reasons why this picture just doesn't cut it, but it just doesn't. I mean no, I may not actually be crying or laughing at it out loud now as I look at it, but I'm certainly not happy with it; and I for one will not be surprised when the most likely to be the same reactions from many, many others commence.

I agree 100% i wouldn't have had the same background as the F4's posters idve had something darker and more sinister,the one where he is sitting in the throne wouldve worked great IMO

Well it is only a poster. It'll be up at bus stops a week before the movie comes out, and disappear as quickly as it came. At least in the UK.

You all dreamed that the end will show Doom going to Latveria. Well here is an extract from the script:

CLOSE ON: the MELTED FACE of DOOM. He is placed in a wooden crate. LEONARD oversees the operation, listening to his cell.

As two workers move the heavy door in place - a crackle of ELECTRICITY moves over Doom's body. Leonard's CELLPHONE goes STATICKY. His eyes narrow. Could it be..? And-

SLAM. The door closes. We can read the destination through stenciled lettering: LATVERIA. And we pull back to reveal the box is on the deck of:

A FREIGHTER SHIP. The ship pulls away, steaming into the horizon, as we......

But don't get too attached to that scene Saph....Story himself said he wanted to film 2 different endings....he got a chance to film a different ending in April....so really we don't know what the ending has in store at this moment...

Maybe both endings have the same outcome?

I hope they do use this ending. First of all, it would satisfy a lot of people, especially the people in this thread. Secondly, It leaves people awaiting a sequel.

Ohhh don't get me wrong...Latveria has a strong connection throughout the movie...not just that ending...i think that some of this will stay intact...but how much is not known at this moment....

Seeing how this thread is 106 pages long, I apologize if this has been asked before, but in the first chapter of the novel Ben mentions, "His name WAS Van Damme. He changed it just to scare the crap outta people." Anyone know if this makes it to the actual film?

I skimmed it last night, and, while I'm not 100% sure, I'm fairly sure that the line you're talking about isn't in the script.
