Heath Ledger's Joker was one of the most comic accurate villains we have ever gotten in comic book movies. Heck, he was more accurate than Jack Nicholson's version which gave him an established backstory and made him the murderer of the Waynes.

The Joker has always been a bad character to use to complain about accuracy, he has changed a lot over the years, DC have rebooted the universe lots of times, and his origins have always been kept pretty vague. Its always made it far harder to use him (and DC characters as a whole) in arguments over accuracy.

The only thing that was truly "inaccurate" from the comics about TDK's Joker was that they swapped the perma-white deformity for a scarred smile deformity and he worse facepaint. Also, his clothes were kindof dirty.

Everything else about the characterization was pretty much spot on in every way possible. Comparing TDK's Joker for a Dr. Doom who is Doom in name only doesn't really work.

The joker i read was the Red Hood who got dropped into a vat and altered. That wasn't part of his character in TDK.

Same as the Red Skull I read was trained by Hitler and wore a red mask not a super soldier. And crimson dynamo as mercenary not a scientist. Villain origins are pretty much always different in movies. And even next years Ultron will be created as a defence project kinda by stark and not as a pet project of Pym.

This one is a big difference admittedly.

I'm not saying Doom will be great just that in-accuracy doesn't mean bad, all of those were in-accurate and were okay.

Kebbells a good actor and the villain even if Doom-INO he may still be good

It's shaping up to be a modern and more expensive version of Roger Corman's Fantastic Four. .

Fox is just making this **** to keep the rights, while Doom would probably have an entire phase devoted to him if he was in the MCU

I disagree. Roger Corman's Fantastic Four had Doom as an actual dictator. He was dressed just like his comic counterpart, only that it was a low budget version of the costume. This is far worse than Corman's effort. This is the most bastardized piece of crap they could come up with.

Doom... or Victor Domaschev is now a programmer? He sounds like some nerdy engineer or scientist with no social skills who just spends all his time on the internet hiding behind the facade of someone named "Doom." And what's worse is that Miles Teller looks like his nerdy programmer buddy.

I wouldn't be surprised if Reed and Doom wear bras on their head and feed all the ingredients of their perfect woman into some program and come up with.... Kate Mara??

I read the article and I don't see anything that should make anyone panic. Doom wasn't given the ruling power of his country in the comics, he took it. Hitler maybe the person who most inspired the character was a artist.

It's amazing how much my excitement for this movie has died down since finding out what Marvel Studios and WB have planned for their movies. I frequently forget this is even coming out next year.
