^I hope so, the premise of the movie sounds great with him fighting all different monsters, a bit Hellboy-like but I think that was an inspiration anyway.
All that means is that it will be the first film I see in 2014, haha.
January is indeed a dumping ground, but at the same time the film may have a better chance then. Haven't most of the Underworld movies come out in January?

I'll catch hell for this but I'll take DeNiro's monster over this any day of the week.
DeNiro's monster was awesome. That's a highly underrated movie.
I like everything about Branagh's film except Branagh himself. He got on my nerves. But De Niro's monster was great and the film looked awesome.
I just found his performance a bit over-the-top. It felt indulgent to me... I just kept thinking that if someone else was directing it, they would have reeled him in a bit more. But since he was calling the shots, he allowed himself to chew the scenery.
Normally I like him though. But I didn't care for him in Frankenstein.
