he was one of many hobgoblins

ned leeds was betty's husband (she was peter parkers first love interest). he was assassinated and revealed to be the hobgoblin years ago but it didnt make sense that he could be killed by assassins so easily so it turns out he was just brainwashed into doing it and never actually had any powers. i recommend "hobgoblin lives" for the story behind it all. anyway he's well and truly dead, but i think the hobgoblin story didnt have enough twists and maybe he should come back.

Ned Leeds is definitely dead, though he did know Matt, while he was a reporter for the bugle.

I quite like the idea of Nick Fury being DD, it would be a good way for him to remain underground, but at the same time stay in touch with the other heroes. Plus if he was from hell's Kitchen, maybe he feels its his duty to protect the place in Matt's absence.

Lets be honest, why would anyone want to be Daredevil, only person that I would buy being without a long and complicated explanation is Danny Rand since they were friends.

Having it turn out to be Iron Fist or Task Master, after his reveal it would just be like "oh, Ok." If Nick Fury was Daredevil people would be puzzled as to why and what does this all mean, plus it would have much larger imact than having it be Iron Fist. Daredevil revealing himself to be Iron Fist wouldn't have much of an imact at all.
The only other person who could have this much impact in revealing himself as Daredevil would be Hawkeye, but there is even less a reason for him to be Dearedevil than Nick Fury.

Honestly there is more reasons for it to be Iron Fist, or someone like Task Master, but for me it would be too expected, not enough of a shock, and have little to no impact on the Civil War.

Well for Nick Fury, he knew Daredevil and he went underground and is not connected to SHEILD anymore. Him dressing up as Daredevil would give him an oportunity to still be active without people knowing were he is.
I'm not sure if Hawkeye even met Daredevil once, did he?
If he returned and hid as someone else he would probably pick someone else. Plus how would he know that Matt was in prison, Nick would know.

Not saying that revealing it is Hawkeye wouldn't work or be cool, I'm just saying it would make just enough sence for it to be nick Fury but still boggle the mind that its Nick Fury.
