My question is why can a fan with limited income get Apocolypse right yet a studio with near limitless funds and resources can't give us something at or above this quality level?

One of my main issues with the xmen films is the lack of majesty and embrace to their cb suit counter parts. Jackman could easily rock the **** out of a wolverine suit. Those black leather jackets tho. :oldrazz:n

I think I might pick up some more Thor comics that have Enchantress in them just to get me up to speed on what she's like and what her role is and her relationships to both Loki and Thor.

I think that the X-Men films in general are still very influenced by an earlier approach to CBMs that they themselves pioneered but in terms of visuals is a bit out of sync with the times, this was even apparent in DOFP a bit, and now they are seemingly trying to go all in on the super hero look and the results at first glance are... Awkward.

I don't think trying to take Psylocke's classic look and adapt it verbatim is a good idea. The comic classic design was always pretty bad. But with Issacs they seem to have gone the adaptation route and it doesn't seemed to have paid off with anything impressive either...

The counter to all of this is of course that Quicksilver in DOFP did look very underwhelming... And that turned out pretty spectacular in context.

So... I just don't know. What I do know is that in general, even after DOFP, that outside of Deadpool, I have NO interest in the X films at all really. That trailer is going to have to be BvS times 10 to get me to really want to see it.

Have you ever seen the HULK VS. DTV they put out? It's worth a look. It's sort of Thor and Amora's relationship in a nutshell. Why are the crazy ones so hot? Am I right fellas?

Does anyone else find themselves just chugging water straight from the faucet sometimes?

No I haven't...but hmm. I like crazy ones who are hot as hell. :drl: Reason why i want to pick up some comics is because of the fan speculation of Enchantress might play a role in the next Thor film...but hard to say at this point because there's no concrete - no word yet as to whether or not she'll appear in the movie. Its only wishful thinking at this point but we'll see.

The upper body and head are pretty good but everything else looks pretty cheap.

Still miles above the Ivan Ooze knockoff Fox is giving us. Not like I really care, you can't pay me to see a Fox Marvel film

Rick and Morty is one of the best shows on TV. I can't wait for season 2 to start this Sunday.

Here are some clips from the HULK VS. THOR toon (which I greatly liked. Loved how they presented Asgard and Thor in this and the Enchantress).

Amora is... She's hormonal let's say. :sly: She has this insane lust/love for Thor, but she's not particularly mature about it, or about allowing Thor to come around to seeing her as a potential match. She would rather force it. It's unhealthy. She's that type of person that thinks she can control other people. There is always some kind of conflict in herself. She can be really wrathful against Thor for spurning her but... She doesn't really want to see him dead. She just wants to have him all to herself. She's pure selfishness, and that makes her an easy pawn for others, especially Loki over the years. Now again... She's also a bit unhinged at times, as you can imagine given her rubberbanding between "I love you Thor. Don't leave me" and "I will make you pay for spurning me Odinson!" As for how Thor feels all about this... I don't really know. I think it's obvious that there is a purely physical attraction to Amora, but he's a true and noble prince. He sees her flaws and how she falls victim to her own vanity, lust and capricious emotions. Maybe it's something like, Amora is who he would have ended up with had he not learned the lessons of humility that Odin made him learn by turning him into Don Blake. I don't know... That's my thoughts. I think he might feel some kind of kinship with the Enchantress, or empathy, but she just gives into her dark side too much.

Like I said... Why are the crazy ones so attractive? :woot:

Anyone ever watch Off The Air on Adult Swim at 4 am? They have some insanely trippy stuff on there. I don't think I would watch this show on acid, maybe shrooms. I imagine being stoned would be the best way to watch it, that or maybe zone out on some duster or nitrous

Chronicle, followed by the Fantastic Four movies (ALL of them), followed by Captain America (1990). On an endless loop in the common TV room.
