I prefer Marvel to DC since the characters are more people and less gods. I can relate more to Spider-Man when he has to juggle a job, social life and other things while trying to pay rent and everything more than Superman who has a hidden fortress in the Arctic, probably doesn't need to eat and can basically live on solar power alone for eternity.

In other news, I've been sorting music for the past 5 hours and only got into the F's. I'm going to give myself the rest of the night off. My ears are starting to hurt

yeah I don't care for DC. Marvel all the way. yeah baby. I used to like the X-men back when the films came out but man, I stopped caring about them after the horrible disaster that was X3 and Origins. Only the ones I prefer are the first two X-Mens, The Wolverine and First Class. I was skeptical about DOFP but I didn't really care. Im the same about the next X-film that comes out next year that has to do with Apocolypse. What ruined the franchise was the whole notion of it being all about Wolverine. Like, hello Fox, there's more to the X-Men than Wolverine for gawd sakes.

So I kept my distance from Fox-related Comic Book films. Definitely not seeing Foxtastic 4. Deadpool on the other hand, I will see depending on how good it is.

Pixels just seemed like it would be cool in 3D.

Fantastic Four should be seen in the league of BvS, Avengers, and bigger than some Xmen moves, but it is too late for that it seems. I feel bad for the die hard fans.

I'm still going to watch it tho. I always wanted to see a sequel to Chronicle.

Deadpool is being played by Ryan Reynolds who is a massive Deadpool fan and has been trying to force Fox to make the movie for something like a decade. I'm watching it for him alone.

just started reading Joss Whedon's run on Astonishing X-Men again. can't believe this is 11 years old. I'm about to start Issue 3 now and it's every bit as good as I remember it.

Great run by Whedon...definitely a good read. I have most of the graphic novel books on my shelve. Havent read it in years.

My question is why can a fan with limited income get Apocolypse right yet a studio with near limitless funds and resources can't give us something at or above this quality level?
