How much trouble will I get into if I skip Jury Duty? I already postpone twice.

they will just keep on trying to scare you lol but eventually you'll get fined. its normally just one day, unless you have something interesting like the Scranton Strangler.

I knew a guy who got selected for jury duty but who really didn't want to do it. He went, found out one of the guys he had to "jury" for was black, and told the judge that he didn't "particularly care for black people." Now he's not racist in the slightest, but that little lie got him off Jury Duty.

Personally, I've always wanted to have Jury Duty but have never gotten the notice. I have friends who've done it multiple times, but the one guy who WANTS Jury Duty? Nadda.

To the best of my knowledge, I have never been asked for jury duty. But then again I have given the government so many fake addresses over the years I doubt it would ever show up at the right address if it did happen

I was selected for jury selection one time....as in, come in to the court, about 3 times over several months, to sit in the observation gallery with around 35 other people for a couple of hours, until the DA came in and said we don't need you today, go home. One time they actually started picking a jury for a trial...the defendant was my doctor....so I was excused from it. Haven't heard anything from them in about 15 years now.
