The cast at least certainly seemed to get along convincingly off set. Maybe this travesty was a bonding experience for them. lol

And yeah...I honestly thought the film would end up somewhere in the 80s on RT. I was kinda right. It's in the 90s as to the amount of critics who hated the film.

But I completely missed in the article where it said Teller and Trank didn't get along. Did anyone get along with Trank on the set?

And I don't place all the blame on Trank nor on Fox. It genuinely seems to be just an all around screw-up of a film.

I would hope that if Trank were awful towards Mara that NONE of them would defend him simply because that's mean and unprofessional behavior.

Look, Fox's trusts good directors. I.E: Bryan Singer, Mathew Vaughn, James Cameron, David O. Russel, Alejandro G. Iñárritu, Ridley Scott...

They didn't trust Trank because he gave them nothing to trust him on.

Please don't use the fan of Fox/X-Men on me. Yes, I love the X-Men Franchise. It's my favorite comic book film franchise and it was my favorite comic/cartoon as a kid. But I don't blindly follow a studio based on what they've produced. I like a lot of different films from different studios.

I actually thought the trailer for Fan4 looked entertaining. And also, just in my nature as a person, I try look for the best in people/situations. I try to reserve judgement on something until I actually see it or get most of the facts about it.

I try not to be a cynical person.

That is what happens when you rip off Nolan. You can gloss over. But I could tell from the first trailer it was bunk. So clearly derivative, so clearly lacking its own identity. So cheap looking.

Why does one need to be cynical to recongize something is a train wreck? At some point you are fighting the obvious. Especially considering all the rumors, reshoots and Trank's loss of the Star Wars job.

I don't care how optimistic one is. After Trank lost the Star Wars job, the writing was on the wall. That didn't "just happen" for no reason.

I think Jordan's career is why he hasn't said anything, but I can see them all being a bit put off by how Trank acted. His friend or not. This isn't the first film Jordan has made with Teller either.

His own collaborator and writer for Chronicle said it was KARMA when Trank got fired from Star Wars.
