SHH Code Name: Malus
Real Name (Optional): Marcus
Sex: Male
Age (Optional): 42. Not old enough to remember the moon landing, but I
was watching when the original shark was jumped.
Plus I got to see the theatrical release of the original
Star Wars for the first time at 13, which I think was the exact perfect age to see the film. (It ain't much, but it's all that keeps me from being bitter about aging. Well, that and my 2 kids.)
Country: United States Of America
Occupation: Writer & Cartoonist, graphic designer & photographer. Best known for
Tales from the Bog, the comic book series I wrote & drew from 1995-1998. I was often told it was kinda like a cross between
Pogo and
Twin Peaks, which I appreciated. I'm returning to it after 8 years this coming February. Wish I had a website up already... Anyway, here's my favorite cover:
Who Is Your Fave Fantastic Four Character(s): Ben Grimm
How Long Have You Been Reading Fantastic Four Comics? At age 6, I saw the old Hanna Barbera FF cartoon and the character of the Thing really appealed to me. I asked my mom to buy me FF #112 the next day. (Thing vs Hulk.) We went home and she read it with me, and at the "end," Ben is distracted by Alicia's calling out to him, and the Hulk lands a blow that apparently kills him.

Thank goodness my mom understood that the story was not over, and she encouraged me to pick up the next issue, where Ben is revived. The character has held my interest ever since.
In December of 2000, I named my newborn little boy "Benjamin."
Ben Grimm is a truly noble character that (to me) more than any other character in fiction, represents the very best in human nature.
(My Ben's middle name is "Kirby," by the way.)
What Are Your Biggest Concerns About The Fantastic Four Sequel:
Mainly I hope that Tim Story is granted a freer creative hand and that nothing from the "Ultimate" books finds its way into the film. A more fully realized Thing would sure be nice, too.
What You Look Forward To Seeing In This Sequel: An FF that's been around a few years; a team that is now comfortable with their "new job."
A montage of their battles with various lower tier bad guys would be nice.
The "full-on Doom" as we've been promised, the screen debut of the Surfer, and much more of Alicia, I hope. But mostly I'm looking forward to
the look on our characters' faces as the shadow of Galactus falls over them in the movie's final shot. ( I'm kiiiinda lookin' forward to that.)
