A Carnival scene or something of like was very much the kind of thing i felt was missing from TDK. still love it though.
I wanted more mob scenes, more with Gambol (before he got killed) and with Sal Maroni.
Agreed on both counts. I see this third installment having more mob action, but it really depends on the villains they choose to focus on.
Is there much of the mob left after TDK? Falcone is in Arkham. Joker wiped out Gambol, the Chechen, and Maroni.

I think it leaves a nice opportunity to have the freaks taking over the different mob factions.
Plus, it leaves the possibility for more villains that usually wouldn't find themselves in a batman movie because they can't really drive a film.
This film can still be driven by the Joker and what his legacy is without really having to show him.
You seem to be forgetting about our umbrella-gun toting pudgy friend who likes ice.![]()

I agree with you.Exactly! Joker pretty much destroyed most of the mob leaders. I think this leaves room for characters like Penguin or Black Mask to come in since they at times can be a bit mobster/gang like rather then psychos...well Black Mask is a fair mix of both I guess. It would be great opportunity for either of them to start taking businesses and property that was once the mobs for their own to build up their power.
I can't understand for the life of me why fans want there to have the mob be in the third film. We've had enough of them, lets bring in Batman's enemies that most fans love...the freaks and mentally troubled.
Wanting the mob to return is the equivalent of wanting Lex Luthor to be in the next film Superman film for the billionth time.
edit: Damn it! After posting this I read the other comments after yours and I basically just typed what those other comments said.![]()
