Yep. Routh was great in the role & deserve better. I don't think Welling can't pull it off on the big screen as he did in "The Fog" & "Cheaper by the Dozens" films. Sorry, fans. Just stating my opinion on this.

And it also a slap in the face for Bale too, since it stupid to have 2 Batmen already that will confuse the general audience & that isn't a good thing. I think WB is hurting the chance for a 3rd Batman film, since Nolan is pissed with WB going ahead with this.

What the heck is going on now? I think they royally messed up with the casting, going by the rumors. The biggest mistake is Batman and second biggest mistake will be replacing Routh in the big screen version of Superman.

well, I called Gough's reps over at William Morris and got to his agent who quickly told me to call their PR department. Normally, and I am just observing, if a story is not true, the agent will tell you that its not true because they would know, since they would be part of the negotiations, but by them telling me to talk to their PR department felt like they are stalling.

I called the PR department and they ask me to send in an email with the request and questions, which is a pretty standard practice, we do this every week on stories that we are working on but this time it really felt like they are just stalling.

Maybe it's nothing, meanwhile we are waiting for a few calls back from friends over at DC and WB, hopefully we find something out tonight.

For what is worth , i have never seen somebody looking bad or giving a bad performance in a George Miller film..
