IESB: Welling out of the running for JLA Superman

Yea i guess with routh starting filming of that film he is most likely not going to be supes for jla. Also it is probably a 3rd guy now cause it is most likely not going to be welling(even thought it would be cool for welling to be supes). I still think they should have given the role to routh but oh well. I really hope we hear who was cast soon.

SV has 5 million viewers when it pulls in GOOD ratings. Fans online are vocal but the overall fanbase isn't all that big really. Hell Lois and Clark had 20.8 million viewers for an episode but lasted only 4 seasons. Only difference is being on a bigger network that expects larger fanbase. The fanbase is not that big for SV really. Ok for the CW I suppose but that's about it. The diehard SV fans act like it pulls in Heroes type numbers but it's pretty small scale actually.

Please :whatever: put SV on NBC the numbers would be bananas.

Whoever gets the role Routh (he gets my vote), Welling or -insert name- this place will go insane when it's announced. For better or worse.:o :ninja:

Damn skippy! :woot:

again, so glad welling isnt superman (i dont like the connection to smallville)

Again, there's no connection.

If it would have went to NBC, who knows. It think it's on the right network because it fits with the number of viewers. Cute little Network and Show, they belong together.

For example, watch how quick Bionic Woman gets cancelled. Keep the SV actors where they are, they're doing good where they're at. Looking forward to yet another take on The Man of Steel.......

I'm happy that Tom is not in. There are better people to play Supes.

sorry that statement doesnt do for me. Official Cast list for JLA will be the only thing unless I see an official interview with Lin or Tom.

Well I'm hoping. Waiting for the cast.

yea i cant wait for the cast to be revealed, i hope it is revealed soon.

BTW, Smallville is one of the top rated syndicated series in America. It's not a failure at all.

So who is in the running if Routh and Welling are not in the running? Or will Superman just be a big CGI effect with an uncredited voice actor?

Its not a dud; but not even breaking top 10 for its night when it is premiering isn't anything to brag about.

the ratings thing i saw for first week showed it to be in number 5 spot.

Didnt it premiere 2 weeks ago?

But anyways...no; top 5 for the night usually 11 million or so viewers; Smallvilles never got more then 6 on average even in it prime.

Smallville's beating Supernatural. What the hell is wrong with you yanks? :oldrazz:

that is what i was saying the first week season 7 started the ratings thing i saw has smallville at 5th spot for the 8pm hr. Yea i also know smallville never gets over 6 million viewers, man it would be great if it got ratings like heroes/csi/survivor they would probably have a better budget then they do.
