Stop accusing folks of hating JLA because they're Singer fans who are upset over JLA being made & not MoS for now. You're being too biased & think you know everything about someone when you don't. That like you saying MoS is dead because you hate Singer & believe everything you hear that MoS is dead when WB has not confirm it is. Rather than listening to them, you listen to Variety, AICN, etc. Shouldn't you listen to the studio who make the film, not random Internet & newspaper.

And from hearing some of the news, JLA might suck. If it doesn't, I will eat my words. But right now, hearing some of the plot doesn't sound good.

As Dark pointed out, it's a manip to make the SR version look like the SV version.

Shelby is a nod to Superman for All Seasons, Clark's pet when he was a kid living in Smallville. SV makes the same homage. The plaid shirt isn't an homage; I think even Dean Cain wore a plaid shirt in some L&C episodes. It's just typical wardrobe for farmboy Clark. Now, if Singer dressed *his* Clark in a red Carhartt jacket and bright blue t-shirt, I think people might have an argument.

I'm a huge SV fan (duh! lol) and I didn't see ONE direct homage to SV in the entire film. No references to Lionel or Chloe by name, Kuwachi caves, Clark growing up with Lex, Kryptonite being a common rock in Smallville, Metropolis being three hours away, or Lex's early 33.1 experiments. No references to cloning, super soldiers, Mxy, Brainiac, Zod, Supergirl, vampires or even 400 year old dead witches. I mean, not even a nod to Lana Lang. Hello?

SR was an ode to Donner. C'mon people. SR had NOTHING to do with SV, which I think warrants a big fat hallelujah from EVERYBODY. Right? LOL
