If Mr.Siniter was in days of future past who do you reckon should play him... should he be british or american?

i think you need to have someone very menacing to play the role. Im thinking age wise you would want him to look around the same age as Xavier and Magneto just to give it that bit of mix so someone in there early 30's

for an american actor i was thinking robert knepper could play the role or if a british actor maybe someone like jude law? or someone younger?

either that or they cast an unknown actor, actually that reminds me of that youtube video i saw called spookora there was a guy in that who i thought would of been good.

Just a thought what about hugo weaving?

Why would he be in Days of Future Past?

He has no involvement in the story in the comics and cartoons. He isn't a time traveller, or time travel inventor. He doesn't create Sentinels.

Under what circumstances do you see Sinister being included in Days of Future Past?

I see your point but also explain to me the following

What involvement did Blob have with Weapon X
When did Sebastian Shaw use a young magneto as a test subject
When was Mystique and Xavier adopted brother and sister
When was Gambit in the 80's
When was Pyro ever a member of the x-men group?

From my understanding it doesnt matter what story they have which will ultimately effect which characters are in it

I think Sinister is a big villain, so he should be left for next sequel.

We dont need to waste such a popular villain.

Yes, the comic book stories get changed around. Most of the above examples worked fine despite being different from the comics. Not so bothered about the Blob though, to be honest.

Sinister is more tied to Cyclops and Jean and that would be a good way to introduce him, and introduce them. He is also tied to the Mutant Massacre story.

I can't see how he'd fit into the Days of Future Past plot. He may get put in the film, he may not, who knows!

But I was asking how YOU think he should feature in the Days of Future Past story, what ideas you had personally.

In a way, I hope they do surprise us with interesting twists and variations, but I hope it doesn't deviate from the comics in a bad way.

Hugo Weaving wouldn't play Sinister, he says he doesn't like comic book movies and didn't seem to enjoy his time as Red Skull.

As someone previously mentioned in another thread here. Kevin Bacon was playing more of a Sinister role than Sebastian Shaw's.

Fox didn't even explain how Bacon's character developed his powers, we just see him unaged and absorbing things.

So if that's Fox's version of Shaw I doubt they'd get a villain as complex as Mr. Sinister right.

I agree Shaw did have elements of Sinister in the experimentation. In fact, Sinister and Shaw's father were both part of the X-Men Legacy story with the Cronus device.

We didn't need to see Bacon's Shaw developing his powers. He was a mutant, he had the mutant gene. Nuff said.

If they ever bring Sinister into the movie universe I'm still utterly convinced that Jonathan Rhys Meyers is absolutely perfect for that role.

Wait! I wouldnt have thought about this ever, but he would be an excelent choice!!
specially since he will be more mature by the time the next sequel is made.

Great suggestion!!!!

I would love to see Mr. Sinister but I don't want him to be the main villain for DOFP.
