This is so badass! WATCH THE VIDEO!

If The Dark Knight came out 20 years ago, and Warner Bros Licensed a video game adaptation of the movie for the Nintendo Entertainment System, it might look a little something like this video found by our brothers at /Gamer. El Macbee created this retro animation with original Music by Vic Sagerquist. But forget about the sweet looking cut scenes and 80’s style flash effects, I want to see what the game play looks like.

Awesome! where can I buy this lol!

Yea id love to have that game made for real haha. I want to see gameplay too. I love NES games, Especially the original Batman.

what's that picture of Dent at 1.27 ????,

Oh man...so awesome! NES will always be the King!

I would blow the dust out of my system, and totally buy this for reals. :hehe:

they forgot to put the dialogue scripts underneath the pictures

and they should have put a batsign in there somewhere...as well as a bruce pic

were the photo stills on the nes as good as that back in the day?

Cool...takes me back. I've got good memories from both my NES and Sega Genesis. :woot:

That was brilliant. I love the old school style games. Still have all of mine.

I love this and all, but why didn't they make an 8 bit version of Howard and Zimmer's score?

Nah.. NES graphics never looked that good, though the video is a perfect representation of SNES graphics. lol

Yes, they did. Those were just stills that were translated into graphics. Back then, it wasn't hard to do at all. And it was pretty common in the later years of the console. Which is why you see it done with most of the 8-bit homebrewed games you see all over the internet.

somebody should actually make this, as people are putting newly made ps3 games up on the ps3store for sale all the time!!!

I bet there is acouple TDK style levels floating about for that Little Big Planet game.

You can download all them old games onto your PC. I've got both Earthworm Jim's on mine
