So I guess will have to pin our hopes on TNA to create a great looking world title someday. It's pretty obvious we're never getting a good new design from WWE again.
I don't even think their current world title belt is as good as their old one but its still miles better than Rocks bling belt. It looks a lot more simple and prestigious.
TNA's going with tradition when it comes to belt designs. The KO's title looks classy and not like the Barbie accessory that is the Divas title. Maybe Kelly Kelly should've been the first Divas champion instead of the Deadmans bonebox.

He's been lost in the shuffle a little bit (what can you do when Trips, Rock, Taker and Brock are pencilled in for the "money" matches at WM) but I'm just glad that he has gotten this far. Would never have thought he'd one of the company's top faces.
I'm a big fan of his. He's come a long way since his early days in WWE. His initial heel run was awful. His fluke TLC title win against Cena was awful. His feud with HHH did nothing for him. But he kept working hard.
After that he slowly but surely made big leaps with the quality of his work. He's a good worker and unique character and is only getting better. He's gotten some big breaks that most others on the roster don't get but hes never taken it easy but did everything he could to work hard and take advantage of those breaks.

oh John, John ,John John, John ,John
Cena...seriously? The PG kiddie talk makes me want to barf. Boo boo face?

Man he's also kayfabing pretty hard there. I don't think anyone over 8 will believe any of that. At least Bully Ray is a LOT funnier when he does it.

I'm fine with the WWE logo being a huge focus. The belt still sucks a** though. They could have done a better job of incorporating the WWE logo into a stronger better belt design.
The thing is, those days are done, and we need to get over it. It's the biggest open secret that
But before that it was viewed as a legitimate sport and so the belts reflected that. But people are wiser now, and so why continue to play up the "sport" aspect of it when it is in fact "sports entertainment"?
People knew it was fake 25 years ago. But we still got a title that got treated with class and tradition. That has nothing to do with realness or fakeness. That has to do with how importantly they want to present their product and their champion. They still threat them like kind of a big deal so they should be presented as a big deal. Not wearing something that looks like it should be bouncing off a b****'s a** in a late night BET raps video.
And if people knowing it was fake and the sports aspect where factors lets get rid of referees...and rings...and title belts period. But I don't think they'll be getting rid of any of that any time soon.

Exactly. Its the WWE title not the P Diddy title. Hell since WMXXX is in New Orleans next year they may as well do the full Arquette and let Kanye West and his own little porn poon Kim K walk in as WWE champion while claiming Vince McMahon hates black people.

Just because it's widely known that it's fake that doesn't mean they should enter self parody territory. I mean if they can't have pride in what is supposed to be their centrepiece then I give up.
Yeah. I mean...lets just get rid of the three count while we're at it. Maybe do away with title belts all together and just go by wins and losses. Every story has to have STRUCTURE and a foundation to build on. A world and rules to operate in.
Rocky IV is an over the top movie about boxing and everyone knows its fake...but that doesn't mean it treats everything in the world of boxing as a farce. You didn't see Rocky putting the Issac Hayes JIVE n FUNK championship belt on Apollo's grave.
I like Sheamus as a worker but I preferred him as a heel. I'm still not sold on Barrett either, I just cannot see him above Ambrose as WWE's next top heel, I think him and Cesaro are in the same boat, both are big guys who can work, but they just haven't got a hook right now.
Barretts got the look, height, and mic skills but he's lacking in everything else. As a worker he's blah. But in WWE land you can still make it as long as you have the first three or hell even two of the three.
But Barrett is stil lacking a certain main eventer feel or magnetism. I think Sheamus even has more of it than him right now. That and Sheamus is big AND can work a lot better.
