The Amazing Spider-Man If Venom is used again, this is how he should look!

I liked the sharp teeth being in Eddie Brock's mouth, because that's how they have generally been in my favorite Venom designs.

Thus, I've always imagined Eddie Brock's teeth sharpening during the transformation. The sharpened yellow nails bothered me more than the teeth did.

They all look like they're from Venom's mouth, not Eddie's.

I liked how they portrayed it in the Raimi films. How the symbiote grabs on to the corners of his mouth and pulls. Gotta be painful. Makes his obssession with the symbiote all the more masochistic.

I personally prefer something like that, with Eddie being distorted into the Venom, rather than a symbiote just covering his face.

And in both cartoons, the symbiote has its own teeth that forms after covering up Eddie much later after the first transformation.

What the hell happens to Eddie's teeth?

The symbiote creates a whole new persona, as it should. Heck, when the symbiote in TSSM forms a mouth in his stomach, it doesn't move Eddie's mouth and teeth, lol. The symbiote is full of rage, so it becomes a literal monster. It doesn't need to make Eddie grow fangs.

I'm not really well versed in venom lore, so could any of you guys answer this question for me: why does the symbiote only turn into a black suit when it's bonded with spider-man, yet everybody else who comes in contact with it turns into a hulking monster with a four foot tongue and teeth that are too big for the mouth?

It does try to turn Spider-Man into something more than just a man in a suit, but when Spidey tore the symbiote off, the anger that it had created this hulking monster when it latched unto Eddie.

But his mouth must go somewhere. What happens to Eddie's nose and his ears during the transformation as well?

I am well-versed in Venom lore, and I still don't know why in most cases. With Eddie Brock, it made sense, because it was retaining his physique.

It's all under the symbiote...where do you think it goes? From the few comics I've read and TAS and TSSM, it basically shows Eddie's face under the symbiote and the symbiote having its own teeth, long tongue and what not. You actually think it gave Eddie those teeth and tongue? In that case...where was Eddie's big-ass tongue when he was having his "face time" when the symbiote face was gone?

And that never made sense to me when I actually payed attention to the contours of Venom's face. There's no indication that Eddie's face is back there whatsoever if the symbiote doesn't reveal it. I personally prefer the idea that what you see isn't a mask, it's actually Venom's face, and that Eddie's body is distorted into Venom during the transformation.

That's where we differ. I am not a fan of that. I like to see the symbiote using Eddie just to have a body, because if we go by what you say, then Eddie should have his fangs and long teeth even when he's not Venom if he still has the symbiote around him, but he doesn't; it's the symbiote that creates the Venom persona, Eddie is just a vessel the symbiote needs.

Could be, lol.

Which, while I would understand in Venom I's case (I think it's part of what makes him intimidating), I think that the subsequent Venoms shouldn't be beholden to it so they can establish their own images.

I disagree. I see Eddie Brock as a key component to Venom. The symbiote has no definite form of its own, only that conceived of by its host. As that host, the symbiote enables Eddie Brock to take any form he wishes, including that of Venom.

But it's the anger and the aggression that causes those big teeth, long nails and long tongue, either using Eddie or Mac Gargan.

It's still their choice to manifest the teeth and claws, not the symbiote's.

I beg to differ. It may be the host's choice to accept the symbiote, but I think the symbiote already has the rage in itself to create such a beastly-looking monster with those fangs, teeth and nails.

You don't need rage to create a beastly-looking monster with Venom's fangs, teeth, and claws, just the imagination to conceive of it, and the symbiote manifests it. That's how the symbiote works and always has.

Those teeth are Brock's? Da f***?

I always thought it was the symbiote's teeth.
