I hate to think that she was a complete enemy. My only wish is that Ratner had taken more time to show her inner struggle. Famke certainly delivered it, but the edited version only gave us hints after the infirmary scene.

...Yes but she ultimately made the decision to ask for death. I highly doubt the Phoenix side of her which had yearned so long to be free would simply give up. Jean was calling out from underneath all the hate and destruction.

First thing. Despite its problems & flaws I did enjoy the Movie. Second there are also plenty of threads to go & support the Movie as well
