Comics I'm getting tired of Wolverine.

Ok Mr. Intelligent. Whaterever you say. But let me ask you this, have you ever heard of the term oversateration.

Yea, that's what's going on with Wolverine. He doesn't need to be everywhere all the time doing everything. Genious.

The "sucess" of Wolverine is going to equal the "sucess" of Snakes on a Plane for the same reason. Oversateration. By time it comes out, not enough people are going to care enough for it to pul a profit because they've been bombarded by the media.

BTW, every film needs extreme fans to sell it to skeptics. If more hardcore fans hate it, then there's a problem.

Just so you know, and knowing is half the battle. :o

Ok maybe your right, Wolverine is overexposed but that is just becouse the demand is there. Thats how capitalism works. Marvel is a corporation and they sell a product which is comics. If there is a high demand for a product they produce more becouse thats how they make money.

The only way Marvel is going to decrease Wolverine's exposure is when the demand decreases.

Thats why I said you all are in the extreme minority and nobody is listenin becouse so far Wolverine's exposure has been steadily increasing.

It was a dig at your misspelling of the word "oversaturation", reicho.

O loveable one :meow:, oversateration is a word. Here's a section from Webster's about using "over" as a prefix.

"Words may be defined by using the prefix over- to mean 'excessive'... or in the case of verbs 'too' or 'excessively'.

It was used alot in my marketing classes. I'm sorry, please don't hate WW. (I love you lots!) But it was key in learning how to *NOT* adertise elements of the entertaiment industry.

On an end note, I LOVE the sig. You always make the coolest ones. And that is the greatest show ever made. We should start a trend. But now I need to add to mine. I have a nifty line from Toph I wanna add.

"Words may be defined by using the prefix over- to mean 'excessive'... or in the case of verbs 'too' or 'excessively'." Uhm, Yes, this is true, with the prefix, usually indicated with a dash. So Over-saturation (with a u) is a word. Oversateration still is not. As for marketing I was an ad-exec at Citadel broadcasting for two years (got so sick of saturation and frequency)...blah blah. I'm an education major now, dahling, so don't make me get all teacher on your ass, lol.

Yes Avatar frikkin' Rocks!!! Out loud!!!

Not a dig-- playful banter. Reicho is my girl and I will stomp anyone who claims otherwise. ;) Just so everyone is clear.

Im tired of people being tired of Wolverine.

Not necessarily a good thing, however.

Not for you maybe, but instead of crying about it, maybe you should just enjoy life and focus on what you do like. You all act like a bunch of punks sometimes. Everyday above ground is a good one.

What the **** does that even mean?

It means people spend to much time focussing on the negative by nitpicking trivial stuff in cool movies and comics instead of just enjoying it what they do like. Understand Grasshopper?

What if im in an undergorund cave and having a good time, by your logic, its impossible to have a good day underground.

Well there isnt anything fun about being in an underground cave and your not in an underground cave so... go get layed.

I can find ways to have fun in an underground cave.

Lol, what the hell? Read the title of this thread. The poster was expressing his opinion regarding the overexposure of a great Marvel character. If there was one place to "cry" about something like that, it would be here. Ok, so you don't agree. Great! But no one is asking for your views on life. Funny you label everyone who disagrees with you as "punks". Right now, I'm only noticing one, :)

Maybe he means because the sun doesn't shine down there. So you can only have good nights, :D

The same people spend alot of time in this thread complaining and nitpicking about the same thing everyday.

Sure. That's what this particular thread is for, :) If it bothers you that much, maybe you should frequent other threads. Ones that focus on the positives of Wolvie's increased time in the spotlight.

Very few of those. You punks scare them all away. Everytime there is a positive thread one of you always infiltrate and attack everybody. Its like your on some bizarre mission.

I'd appreciate it if you grew up a little and quit calling me a punk. I've never gone to any thread to bash on Wolverine. He happens to be a personal favorite of mine, hence my disapproval of Marvel milking him for cash. So stop with your "You punks" and "You all" and "You do this" B.S.

Something interesting you did bring up, though, is that there are so FEW threads lauding the overexposure of Wolverine, yet you call those who don't like it the minority.

Hes no more overexposed than Spider Man and Batman.

Woah, ok this is probably a little out of my depth but I may as well say something.

I like wolvie. He's one of my favourite characters, and has been for years. The problem I have is that he gets written by three or four different writers at the same time, screwing over continuity. That and it seems that these writers never seem to agree on his personality before they start out making it ten tims more confusing than it already is. I think I'm staying away until it all calms down.

As for the spiderman/batman thing, they are the only heroes their books focus on. The comics might as well now be called 'wolverine and the Xmen'.

Right, but like that new poster said, they are the stars of their respective comics. And I don't care who it is, overexposure and multiple writers isn't good for any character. Even my personal favorite, the Incredible Hulk.

Welcome to the Hype, by the way.
