I mean yes. We aren't idiots. The general basis for this is the same as X-Men. I'll still at least give this a chance. I mean X-Men is my fav, but I'll keep an open mind about this (though it will never come close to my x-men!) :xmen:

and maybe its just me, but it seems half their super powers wouldn't do anything in battle. so in a sense, they wouldnt really be a team like the x-men, but seriously, who knows. i mean we have to watch the show to know what some of their powers are.

I've seen a slew of advertisements for Heroes, and I think it's got a shot at being good. Really, it's just main stream television capitalizing off of the "superhero" craze that's been sweeping the country for the last few years, but I'm not really complaining. I'm a comic book fan and I'm always up for those kind of stories. I'll tune in and give it a few episodes before I pass judgement on it. Sometimes it takes a few episodes before you can really tell if a show is any good.

I apologize in advance, but if you think "the general basis for this is the same as X-Men", then you are indeed an idiot. I'm tired of hearing this comparison, honestly.

it's NOTHING like X-Men, other than the fact that people have powers. and you can't even link that to X-Men exclusively.

not to mention, the series is clearly not meant to have them in battles. it's not an action series, it's a drama. they're not supposed to be a team. and despite what the title might have you believe, it's not about heroes. it's about ordinary people who happen to have extraordinary abilities.

I don't mind. To each their on. lol i still hold my opinion.

have you seen the pilot? I have. trust me when I tell you, it's NOTHING like X-Men. if you watched it and still think that, you're just fooling yourself.

First of all, everyone should always keep an open mind. So what if others make comments? Watch the show yourself, and judge it for yourself.

As for the X-Men comparisons, they're completely unwarranted. The show is without a shadow of a doubt nothing like X-Men. It isn't like the films, the comics, or the animated series. Heroes has a completely different feel. I think the comparisons to a show like Lost are much more warranted.
