Whenever I hear his name I just hear ‘NOO, I’m ROBERT PATTINSON’ or the way he shrieked ‘KEVIN FEEEEEIGE’ in his horrible little manbaby voice when Stephen Dorff made totally normal comments about the MCU. Absolutely everything wrong with nerd culture and those types of commentary shows wrapped up in one man.

This guy Dan Marcus is saying he heard that Reeves' Clayface will be Matt Hagen and will have DARKMAN vibes.

It makes sense to me, apparently they're going to use Basil Karlo in the DCU and Reeves already used the name Karlo with Eve in The Penguin.

This story gets better and better. If it's a standalone or DCU movie, I could see some of the audience feeling it's a bit of a bait and switch if it's not related to the batman, especially if clayface is a villain in the batman and they advertise it as a batman villain.

Realistically I think the batman part 2 comes out in March 2027 and this somewhat takes its place for the October period. Plus if it leans towards horror it makes the perfect Halloween movie.

^ agreed. But in the grand scheme of things it's only another 6 months front he current date in October.

It's a unique situation because the penguin was very successful but now there is nothing between now and then.

If Clayface is a good horror movie then they might not even advertise it as a Batman-adjacent flick.
