Yeah , I’m thinking between the two , it would be more likely that the rumored “A lister” from the F1 movie be Bardem not Pitt. Just don’t see Pitt doing a comic book movie. It does also show that Matt Reeves is not messing around. Going after Emma Stone and then able to get someone like Scarlett Johansson as a back up plan, damn lol WB/DC is confident in that script.

If I recall correctly, Pitt almost played Cable in Deadpool 2 but couldn't due to scheduling so he must be willing to take a stab at the genre. And there is the added bonus of how stacked this is talent wise.

I kind of expected them going in too, but I really liked that Reeves’s Thomas and Martha seemed young at the time of their demise, especially after how old they were in Joker and Jeffrey Dean Morgan being right around 50 in BVS.
