Dune II filmed from July to December, but Austin Butler, who played the villain, finished his part in time to be able to film another project of his from October to December. I don't think anything prevents Pattinson from doing the same and finishing his part in Messiah and filming Batman in November or December.

Assuming Batman actually starts filming this year or actually happens, at this point who knows.

Both films distributed by WB, who just shared a massive hit with Legendary Entertainment with A Minecraft Movie meaning they are on very good terms.

The Batman Part II has a release date of October 2027.

we were adamantly told this is gonna shoot in 2025, then suddenly end of the year, and with Rob in Dune now, it's very obvious it's not shooting this year at all lol. how can this not be worrying atp is beyond me

When Superman hits big this summer we will immediately get an announcement on the DCU Batman, imo.

Well, it’s really two separate things in a way. The movie absolutely 110% can make its release shooting Q1 next year - that’s not even a question.

But, also, whether or not there’s smoke to the fire of BTS drama and them being so high on Gunn’s supply that they’ve lost patience with Reeves. In that scenario they’re probably scared of the inevitable massive controversy (which will be very, very bad for a very long time in the fandom - which we know Gunn cares deeply about) and are just delaying the inevitable. Jeff Sneider and adjacent cronies are all over Twitter right now dooming about it, but I don’t know how many of those people are legit.

IDK, honestly. But in terms of SCHEDULING I don’t think it’s a concern.

This does not remotely sound like a scheduling conflict to me. We already knew Part 2 was not happening til the end of this year at the earliest, and Dune starts shooting this summer. There’s nothing to cry over here, just be hyped for this awesome gig for Rob (I wanted him to be Feyd and haven’t read Messiah, but it’s Dune!).
