I think Ozz Cobb is a direct descendent of TALON (William Cobb) leader of the Court of Owls and as the comic mythos suggests the great grandfather of Dick Grayson, which would provide an amazing arc for Robin. However, these films are more about Batman then the villains according to Reeves, so we shall see.

I'm honestly back and forth on whether or not I think Reeves will bring Robin into the fold. If the films are meant to be from Bruce's POV, it would make sense to keep this as a solo venture.

Saw this and almost lost it lol, I wasn’t around for “Venom in Spider-Man’s eye” but I remember the “Joker in the Batmobile’s smoke.”

Now we got “Robin in Mattson’s Notebook”

Alright what do we say to another round of "Guess the villain?"

I'll be genuinely surprised if it's not Hush, but I'm betting big that there will also be another new villain as a secondary antagonist.

I definitely think we’re getting robin in this trilogy, with matt reeves being such a huge fan of the 60’s show and both matt and rob being fans of dark victory. IMO rob’s batman is the one that suits having a robin the most, i’m just not sure if it will happen in this movie. I can picture the final scene of part 3 being the oath-taking scene in the batcave from dark victory.

I realize how this sounds, but if this movie doesn’t have Robin, my hype levels will drop 90%- he’s my favorite character and I’m tired of waiting for a decent Grayson origin. Batman Forever and Titans weren’t satisfactory, I want something on the level of TDKT or The Batman.

I’ll still see the movie if he’s not in it, but that’s the news I’m waiting to hear. The villain doesn’t matter nearly as much to me.

The Bruce/Dick dynamic is so emotionally rich and it hits even harder now that I’m a father myself.

Reeves Batman is perfect for a Robin, and I do believe that Reeves is open to it considering his 66 love .

I'd like to see Robin as well , but " I'm not really interested if this movie doesn't hit this quite specific checkpoint" is a weird stance. Nothing against you , but I always find it weird when people approach movies / storytelling as a order menu / wishlist. That's not what it is about -.. thankfully.

Wouldn't be surprised if Reeves stays away from including Robin, since Robin/Damian seems to be the main hook of Gunn's dueling Batman plans.

I love Dick Grayson, but I dont want him shoehorned into a story if he doesn't fit. Unless this story is like "Batman Year 5" it just wont make much sense Bruce is still too young and not nearly ready to be training in a kid let alone having a ward,

My hype levels aren't about characters, they are about story. If Reeves wants Dick (calm down @Lily Adler ) then I am all in. If not, I will still be hyped for whatever he chooses, even if it is not my personal preference. Most of the things people seem to want I have no interest in personally, but I bet I will love it when it comes out

Pretty sure they said pieces of Part II were reworked into Penguin early on so maybe this could open with Batman responding to his ascension.

Could easily see Penguin hosting some sort of event with other mobsters and suits, maybe a notable villain or two, and they get interrupted by Batman with this:

From what Matt has been saying (fallout from the penguin is the entry point to the sequel), I'm fairly certain we're getting an Oz confrontation in the first 15 minutes.

Oz being Carmine's right hand man for years will be an obvious target for the anti-corruption commission, they will definitely have something they can use against him and the only way for him to get away with it for now will be to make a secret deal and hand over names and information of politicians, city officials, police officers, etc. Influential people who frequented 44 Below and were connected to Carmine.
