I do think Matt Reeves needed the time to write something special because we have seen a lot of Batman movies. Also arguably, batman has had some of the best comic book movies and some of the worst.

Its getting harder and harder to come up with new stuff but the one area that hasn't really been explored more is Bruce. So it's great to hear from Colin that Pattinson is going to have some great material. I'm still of the opinion we don't hear about casting until the new year because it's a lot less roles to fill up this time around. But I would love for him to give us something tomorrow for Halloween.

Gonna stuff this news away for the winter.

But yeah, despite the first film being a pretty pitch perfect mix of behind the camera talent, a new crew is just as exciting because Reeves has such clear intent with his vision. I honestly don't see any disappointing hires on the horizon.

The little caveat about this being the most asked about film in the newsletter is funny though. Batfans are persistent.
