Yea, and hopefully hires better stunt actors. Some of those guys in TDK were overselling worse than WWE wrestlers.
That's...a good thing.
Joker isn't supposed to be a thread to Batman physically.
In a one on one fight, Batman beats Joker every single time.
It's Joker's unpredictability that caught and catches Batman off guard.

I just hope the fight scenes are great this time.
I know, and it's not a bad thing. I enjoyed that The Joker possessed the ability to hurt Batman psychologically... BUT I also wanted to witness a messy toe to toe battle.
Well with a movie about Joker and Two-Face, neither of whom present much of a challenge to Batman physically, you were setting yourself up for disappointment.
Case in point: the scene in Lau's office, when Lau is in the process of falling before Batman even touches him.

Oh yes. How could I forget that guy?The Morningstar said:There was also a guy standing there with a shotgun, just... standing there. Then Batman took his shotgun and hit him with it.
That's exactly right. But it's like they went too far and made it so easy to follow, it looked too fake.
Yea the actual camera work was an improvement from Begins.

I agree the fight scenes needs improvement. Hopefully they nail it with the third and final entry.
I still think Blade 2 has some of the best fight scenes for a comic book movie. All the martial arts mayhem is excellent.
I wish they would show Batman fighting like Blade.... minus the superhuman moves he does... but when Wesley Snipes is just straight up doing some martial arts stuff it's terrific.... like the scene where he fights the masked ninja vampires inside his secret lair.
The worst fight scenes still goes to the X-Men trilogy. Remember X-Men 1? Wolverine vs. Mystique? Geeze, Wolverine fights no better than me in that scene... he just throws his claws around and prays he hits something.
lol

That's exactly right.
The problem wasn't the fights being too easy to follow. The problem was you can clearly see Bale take his sweet time moving around while everyone waits to be hit. And the fight choreography itself was ridiculous. Throwing someone into another won't hurt anyone.
Or how about Batman giving The Joker a jab in the stomach, which somehow sends The Joker flying across the room? The problem wasn't the fights being too easy to follow. In Begins, although the editing was more chopping and the camera work was all over the place, the fights still felt bone crunching and fluid and quick.
