Here's the part that stinks the most about KC supes though...

Why in THIS pic, and why is he holding the Atom?
Now this is where DC is confusing the beejeezus out of me. Afte OYL, I thought Kal-El was getting back to silver age power levels, meaning planet juggling, time travel speeds, etc. I thought this meant he was uber poweful. KC Supes was depicted as being super invunerable bc he has been soaking up solar radiation for so long. Now we have Prime, who is suddenly stronger than all 3 of the current kryptonians on earth (supergirl,powergirl,Kal-El). When was it establsihed that SB prime was stronger than Kal-El in the first place?
I disagree. NE Superman is formidable, but he's not approaching SA power levels. Prime is closer, but still has a distance to go, in terms of matching the Earth-1 Superman at his most powerful (and ridiculous) during the height of the Silver Age.
Even with the after OYL Kal-El was getting back to silver age power levels....he's not completly at that level yet....
I was disagreeing with
And Prime wasn't really created with SA power levels, back in 1985. All that really distinguished him from E1 and E2 Supermen was that he was immune to red sun radiation, when he broke out of a red sun prison when the E1 Superman couldn't.
It's more accurate to say that upon reintroducing him to mainstream continuity, DC writers decided to up his power levels.
Where was it implied back in COIE that Superboy-Prime was equal in power to the Superboy of the Silver Age?
If you read the interviews with the writters of COIE or in the Hardcover paperback you'll read it.They wanted to represent all the different versions of Superman in the Crissis so to better bring a end to those versions of Superboy. Also in the "Who's who's of Dc" books of that year his power levels are describe as being the same as the previeos Superboy.
This the same Superboy who towed planets?
I'll have to look up those interviews in the Composium.
Yeah, that part worries me too. I'm hoping its just an 'artist' thing where they felt the need to compose all the 'supermen' together. If not, the JSA is screwed, especially Kara.
BTW, some interesting arguments over at Comic Bloc Forums regarding the (still) possible return of Kal-L. Mostly speculation, but a few tidbits that might clear up some debate.
Could KC Supes have some involvement in the search for Palmer? Maybe that's why the image, don't know.
What's the deal with the howling Luthor???
Stigmata is painfull

Prime's universe had no kryptonite. The current version of kryptonite is different than the pre-crisis version so Prime has no functional kryptonite weakness either.
I don't know about Prime, but KC Superman has no weakness to Kryptonite.

No it was established that in Prime's universe, Krypton's sun went supernova completely destroying everything unlike just Krypton blowing up...because of this Kryptonite didnt exist in his universe....
