In The End, Was The Wrestling Thread Worth It?

They need to propel her into a feud with a Diva. Any Diva on the roster. Any one of them. I'm tired of six-woman tag matches.

Sheamus was boring and one-dimensional when he was a heel. Nobody gave a fu** about him back then. He's better off as a face. At least he has personality that way.

For me:

Guilty As Charged 2001. Like Sting Vs. Flair for WCW, RVD Vs. Lynn was the perfect fit for the ECW's grand finale.

Living Dangerously 1999 - The best match in the series when it comes down to it. Its like Hardcore Heaven 1999, but without all the botches.

Hardcore Heaven 1999 - This is the match that gets talked about the most by ECW fans, but it had too many botches for my taste.

Hardcore Heaven 2000 - I don't remember anything about this except Jerry Lynn won for a change.

It should've been a documentary. I hate the "Talk for 5 minutes then show the next match" format.
Slushy, thanks so much for posting this lineup. I mean look, they already did the feature length documentary with Self Destrucity. Now we finally got all the great matches they left off the original set though.

Dude this lineup has some classic matches. I mean we are getting the matches with Andre, vs. Mr. Perfect, **** the cage match with Randy Savage. A lot of these matches have never been on DVD or Blu-ray before. I'm pretty happy with this lineup.

Glad we are getting some Bladerunners stuff too.

There are a few matches I wish made it on here, but all in all, a lot of the ones on my wish list made it in.

That character was going somewhere. That dude got the short end of the stick when they rebranded him as Kevin Thorne. He was a broke ass Gangrel.

That's not really WWE's fault. He couldn't handle the pressure of being set up as the heir to Undertaker. He was supposed to get a massive push, but he was reportedly vomiting backstage and freaking out.

- Today at the Ring of Honor "Honorcon" event in Philadelphia, it was announced that the company will hold a two-day event with New Japan Pro Wrestling in May. The "Ring of Honor vs New Japan" battle takes place on May 10 at Border Wars in Toronto and then again on May 17 at the Hammerstein Ballroom in Manhattan, New York.

The announcement was made by Ring of Honor COO Joe Koff and former star, trainer and booker Delirious. New Japan chairman Naoki Sugabayashi and his translator Tiger Hatori were also present

The promotion also announced they were in talks with toy and trading card companies for future products.

You can find more information here.

Guys should I go to Lockdown? It's not too far from me, and I think I should go just for some of the fan interaction. I don;t like that the whole show is inside a cage. They're cool to see but obstruct your view when you're there live

Tanahashi and Okada are coming to the states OMG!!!!! Tanahashi vs Cole and Okada vs Elgin please!

I will be in the NY area from May 14-20th so I'm definitely going to try to make it to the Hammerstein Ballroom on the 17th.

They are, start at 15 bucks. The fan event the day before is expensive, though. I'll probably skip that

Also, all I really want is a Sting ultimate DVD collection and a hall of fame entry. IMHO he doesn't have to wrestle a single match.

Sting's best days are over and IMHO I don't think he has anymore classic matches on him. I think Hall of Fame would be a nice sendoff for him and also we can finally get a definitive DVD collection on his career.

I agree completely. A comprehensive dvd set and a Hall of Fame induction is all that's necessary.

I've already downloaded the WWE Nerwork app. I will definitely get my money's worth so I'm not sweating about paying for it.

I'm probably gonna sign up to the network soon.I'm really hyped for it.The first thing I'm watching is December to Dismember 2006 and New Blood Rising.

@ Lobo

I'd go if I were you. Even if you don't go to the PPV, the Fan Interaction is worth the ticket price as you get to meet just about everybody on the roster.

People like to trash TNA and rightfully so, but when it comes to fans meeting wrestlers, that's one thing the company has over WWE.

The Warrior set is pretty cool, glad the match with Taker is not the boring MSG match from the old US Rampage tape. Also good to see the cage match with Macho on there, I had a trading card with a still from that match as a kid, but have never seen it.

It's interesting that they put the match with Rude from Saturday Night’s Main Event - July 28th 1990 on there, I only found out about it recently on a topic that was talking about why the Warrior vs Rude match at Summerslam 90 struggled to get interest, the big reason cited by fans was the above match that Warrior won clean just a few weeks before Summerslam.

Ok guys, I was just watching some ECW matches and what I want to know is..Which RVD vs Jerry Lynn match is your favorite?:

Hardcore Heaven '99

Living Dangerously '99

Hardcore Heaven 2000

Guilty as Charged 2001

Rank them from favorite to least favorite.

I'd have to watch them all again to truly decide but the one that sticks out in my mind as the best is Living Dangerously '99.

:lmao:

Who do you guys think will be the next woman inducted to the WWE hall of fame?

Miss Elizabeth?
Luna Vachon?
Madusa?
Victoria?
Mickie James?

If they are going on iconic grounds then it should be Liz. I think Mickie needs another run to link into an induction for herself.

This is true. I've heard many fans say this.

Which device. I have a kindle fire and blu ray player that connects to the internet. Hoping I don't have to buy a roku.

I might, $129 isn't all that pricey, and I get a check two days after that event. I will keep you guys updated, as from what you're saying and what others have said TNA fanfests seem way better than WWE's. I've been to one Axxess which was cool, but I thought could have been done much better. There's also the fact that Muta will be there.

Here's the announced names:

World Heavyweight Champion Magnus
Jeff Hardy
MVP
“Samoan Submission Machine” Samoa Joe
Keiji Mutoh (The Great Muta)
Madison Rayne
Gail Kim
Lei’D Tapa
The Wolves (Eddie Edwards & Davey Richards)
Gunner
Ethan Carter III
Bobby Roode
Austin Aries
James Storm
Samuel Shaw
Velvet Sky
Eric Young
The BroMans, Robbie E & Jessie Godderz
Zema Ion
Mr. Anderson
Hosted by Christy Hemme & Jeremy Borash

I like that the placement of the title makes AJ look like she's not wearing any shorts. Hate the plucking hashtag, though.
