Maoyan ratings are now starting to come in, but it's too early so it's fluctuating all over the place. Have to wait for a good few hours more before it really starts to mean something.

Can anyone explain how the Maoyan ratings work. For example

IW is at 8.0 with a breakdown like this
9-10 - 69.4%
7-8 - 14.1%
5-6 - 8.4%
3-4 - 1.4%
1-2 - 6.7%

Yet Thor Ragnarok sits at 8.9 with a much worse breakdown
9-10 - 29.6%
7-8 - 38.9%
5-6 - 24.1%
3-4 - 1.9%
1-2 - 5.6%

Is Maoyan rating for IW broken or am I misunderstanding something?

Well this movie isn't doing too well now. It's only jumped up two places to number 13 on the all time highest list since the weekend. It should've been in the top 10 by now since it made huge jumps before. It's ahead of Iron Man 3 and the Fate of the Furious, but behind Beauty and the Beast and Frozen.
