I wish I knew who the 5 people were that voted under 1 billion dollars WW so I could derisively point and laugh at them.

    That's not cool, man.

You should find out their names, post them up in this very thread, and then we could all derisively point and laugh at them.

I think EG will finish with $858,7 mil. About $1 mil left Domestically.
Maybe $0,8 mil from OS for a $1938 mil OS total.

    $2796,6 mil WW total.

    It's all good.

Honestly, that's why I love the open-ended polls. People don't notice their vote can be seen...until it's too late! Muhahahhaha!!

It looks like it's going to end up a bit short of $860M domestic and $2.8B WW unless it gets another significant re-release down the line. Not that it should really matter though since it's already done massive business and the numbers so far are still insanely impressive, especially with it officially being the biggest film ever WW. Something I honestly never saw happening for at least another 10 years.

I think in another 10 years if they do another 3 phase completing arc that can beat it. One big thing about the MCU is that it is super popular in many fast-growing markets (like India) which is the opposite of what Star Wars had.

I have a question: for the longest time it seemed like Avatar was at the 2.88 billion range worldwide but then about a month ago it suddenly shot up to 2.89 billion worldwide; does anyone know how it suddenly got an extra million?

I ask because every little bit counts since Avatar could be re-released next year and I hope it isn't able to retake the crown from Endgame: that extra million buffer that Endgame should have but doesn't could make the difference.

After they acquired Fox, Disney audited the film's grosses and discovered an unaccounted for extra million from some of its overseas re-releases.

Even if Avatar gets re-released it's gonna be a hollow win since it will have needed two re-releases to beat EG. EG beat it both on their original run and on their relrease run and much faster than the time Avatar needed to reach that amount.

Did some quick math. As of today, the 6 Disney movies including EG total equal the other top 44 WW movies including Far From Home as it's Sony.

    Wait, hang on.

But...it is available in physical format. And the article was posted a few hours ago, so not sure what they're talking about there.

It's not available on Blu-Ray here in the UK yet. And this is a BBC News (UK) article.
