xwolverine2, you haven't read Wanted, have you?

If not, you have no frame of reference for this film.

He admitted to having not read it at all a couple of pages back. That should inform you on the only reason why he is interested- which is the absolutely wrong side to be on. A director can have a film and still be respectful to the source material, I mean- why did he even chose 'Wanted' if he was going to hack it to bits beyond recognition?

/\ Check out imdb. I'm not using words such as "raped me" "raped my childhood" "raped the book" "raped this, raped that." Lmaol. What is it with some SHH hypsters and that phrase, it pops up- everywhere. Lol. So yeah, to the degrees that some go, I am actually chilled.

You guys are lucky none of the other 'Wanted' fans from imdb come over here.

They normally aren't lit up like this. They were filming a movie along the Chicago River and they had a bank of lights focused on the towers.

The movie is Wanted with Angelina Jolie and Morgan Freeman.

Crowd watches as crew shoot what is described as a "****ing awesome car chase!"

Some of the crash scenes filmed on Wacker Drive behind us. I’m glad we didn’t get hit!

Here are the badass Dodge Vipers used for the action scenes.

Not sure how this truck will be worked into the film, but the Nibblers-mobile was chilling on the set.

They mostly filmed a crazy bus crash scene all night on a bridge over the Chicago River. It was insane. I felt like I was at Disney World watching a stunt show.

The-Boots-Girls-Angelina-Jolie-Movie-Set-Bar-Crawl!!!


Well, we had fun Friday night. Some of the Boots Girls and I went down to Angelina Jolie’s Wanted set where filming took place all night. There were rumors she was in town so we wanted to make sure it was just that, a rumor. Especially since Jennifer Aniston was in town. (Read below.) We heard Angie may have been in town filming action scenes, but the closest thing we found to Angelina was her stunt double. It turns out Jolie filmed back in Prague as some action scenes were filmed in Chicago. So the Boots Girls spent our fun night on Angie’s set by bar hopping at the bars down there in Chicago’s Loop and flirting with cute production assistants.

Terence Stamp is Wanted

Terence Stamp has joined the cast of Universal's Wanted, directed by Timur Bekmambetov. Stamp joins James McAvoy, Morgan Freeman and Angelina Jolie in the big screen adaptation of Mark Millar's graphic novel series.

The movie is scheduled for a March 28, 2008 release.

I'm quite sure that Stamp is playing the Killer, Wesley's father and that he is the second best choice.
Millar was hinting that one of the biggest name actor of the world was going to play the part and while Stamp is great, he's not as big as De Niro or Pacino.

Very, very exciting few days. Kissed by Jolie several times today (I purposely said goodbye about three times!), saw the most bloody awesome sets ever and have some great photos. Sadly, not allowed to post the good pics yet, but you'll see them once the publicity begins in earnest. But what a brilliant time. Czeck girls are so ****ing hot there is no word for it, a Big Mac cost me 40 cents and I got WASTED last night with the crew for about a quid.

Full story tomorrow but heading for plane in ten mins.

YES. But don't expect anything from the movie if you read the GN.

This country is so PC right now Wanted would never work on the big screen. It probably won't be R rated. Expect the language to be toned down a lot. (which takes away some great lines from the GN's ending) God forbid someone hear the word F-CK. This would have been better off as an HBO mini-series.
