If anyone has AIM, Yahoo Messenger, MSN Messenger, GoogleTalk, ICQ, or Jabber, you can create an account at Meebo.com. Using Meebo you can talk to anyone regardless of which of these you use, as long as they use one of them too.

Meebo's what I use. When logged in I can see all my Yahoo, MSN, and AIM friends. So, xman, if you were to use Yahoo messenger, you could create a Meebo account and talk to people on MSN. I'm not even sure you have to have a messenger program at all to use Meebo.

It's great at work. We can't use instant messengers because they've blocked the ports. But meebo's just a website, so we can use it at work to messenge. Heck, they even have a special site for iPhone users.
