The Dakotas suck. They're only slightly better than the Virginias because they're not in the South.

How dare you, sir. We in the south are a proud people, besides. If the south is so bad, how come all you yankees are moving down here by the thousands every year?

Those are like, missionaries of smart. :oldrazz:

Better than being so unoriginal we just name the state after somewhere in the UK... say York? :cmad:

Better than Amsterdam. Yeah, maybe then we'd get associated with drugs and stuff, but association with the Dutch comes with that, and nobody wants that.:o

See, that's another thing I hate about yankees. You all think we're dumbasses down here. We've got smart people and dumb people just like you all. Try coming down here and see if you can resist it.

:oldrazz:

You know I kid. With all the dumbasses here in the city, I can't friggin' wait to leave sometimes.

"Hey, how are you doing today?"

"I'm fine."

"Well that's good."

Is a whole lot better than...

"Wadda you looking at?"

"Nothing.."

"Oh, so I'm nothing now?"

Hey!

I take no offense to that because (a) it's true, and (b) I don't speak like that.

To be fair, all we did here in the South was name half the cities after the Indians we killed. And Stonewall Jackson.

I don't know, with the writer's strike and all. I'm having to patrol the picket lines with my fellow talk show comrades. Just wait until next week...

"Conan O'Brien, Stephen Colbert, and Byrd Man rushed the picket line to strangle the greedy producers....there were no survivors."

Wow...and what DVD sales are you not benefitting from?

*hugs everyone*
I love you all so much.

I shall, I believe it will be the last one of the year. I'll take the holidays off and pat myself on the back while stocking up new interviews.

Who is it? We still got tons of veterans left.

Season II: Byrd in Black

Welcome once again to Inside The Poster's Studio.
Tonight's guest is someone who I feel a friendship
with, given the fact that we started the RPGs at about
roughly the same time. Feature, welcome. Good to have
you here.

Nice to be here. Is it lame that I'm excited to do
this interview?

Very.

Damn.

Let's start things off by talking about a character
you've played for a good while and only recently
dropped. The Shocker. Did you find it hard to give
Shocker credibility and turn him into an acctual
threat?

Not too hard, no. I think any character has the
potential to be pretty exciting. The reason I actually
chose The Shocker was because I was looking for
someone who didn't have a ton of backstory, that way I
had liberty to kind of tinker with his past and such.

Did you find it hard giving him up?

Well, it just kind of felt like it was time. I'll
admit, it was a decision I wrestled with. You know me,
I hardly ever change characters, so to drop the first
one I ever played took some real thought. I'm happy
with the story I've told though, and I feel like it's
complete.

Now, you seem to only play in Marvel based RPGs, and
you've only played in one DC RPG as far as I know. Do
you just find Marvel character more appealing or are
you a rabid fanboy?

The fact is I am simply much more familiar with the
Marvel Universe, as I grew up reading that stuff. I
won't go as far as saying I'm a fanboy, since my
knowledge is nowhere near as deep as some people on
these boards, but it is certainly a comfortable place
for me. I'm trying to change that up though. I'm about
to apply to the Ultimate DC RPG, but it's not because
I have suddenly developed a love
for all things DC or anything. I'm actually doing it
because there are many really good RPers who play in
that realm that I haven't had the chance to interact
with so this is kind of just a way for me to further
immerse myself in our little community.

What are your thoughts about the Civil War in the
Marvel RPG that has slowed the pace in that RPG down
to a crawl?

Hmmm... I'm not too keen on people trying to pull
stories directly from the comics. It can be done and
it can be done well, but in this case it just didn't
work. I think that most of the problem is due to the
fact that everyone felt they had to get involved, when
I don't think it was ever intended to be something so
large. If Civil War had remained a story between one
or two people and then

grinded to a halt, we may not have even noticed. But
more people kept getting involved, so when the arc's
creators slowed down or dissapeared, it was like: "Oh
crap. What are we all gonna do now?"

Let's change gears and talk about a teamup you've
done. Most of our readers probably don't follow the
Ult. Marvel RPG, but forget about the X-Men or the
Ultimates. The team to be on is the Ultimate
Thunderbolts. Tell our readers a bit about that team
and the RPer who make it all possible.

Well, if your readers don't follow the Ultimate Marvel
RPG, they should! It rules! But that's neither here
nor there... The Ultimate Thunderbolts came from an idea I had that
Nick Fury would force Flint Marko (The Sandman) to
head up a team of villains that would work for SHIELD.
It was going to be a solo thing, until Mr. Marko (who
plays Forge) PMed me and said he'd like to get
involved. So we talked it over for a bit and I finally said: "If we're
going to have a team of villains, why not just make
them the Thunderbolts?" And the rest is pretty much
history! At the end of last season, there were tons of
people who wanted to join the team, as I'm sure you
recall.

I do, and let me say I love working with you as
Sandman. Ahh, the awkward gay moments he and
Ghost
Rider have had....

Ah yes. The highlights of my RPing life. I'm sure
we'll have plenty more of those steamy scenes in the
future...

oh la la, Let me move on to a few of my base
questions. Which character have you enjoyed playing
the most?

This is probably a pretty cheap thing to do, but I'm
going to have to pick two. I love playing the Sandman
because of the people I'm forced to interact with in
that role. I mean, you, Mr. Marko and Noon are so
talented. It makes posting so easy when you can just
feel comfortable leaving things in someone else's
hands. The other character I've got to mention is Kaine. I
know alot of people want to play as Spider-Man, but this guy is like my own special little deformed, evil Spidey that I can have
all to myself... which is alot nicer than it sounds.

Which arc have you enjoyed partcipating in the most?

Geez... it would have to be all the Thunderbolts stuff
we did last season. Fighting Silver Surfers, beating
up Blackheart, blowing up Hammerhead... wow. We really
kicked alot of ass last season.

Hellz yeah. Women were screwed, buildings were blown
up, and many an ass was kicked. Which posters have you enjoyed working with the most?

I'm not just saying this to kiss ass, but my favorite
posters to work would be you, Venom160, and Mr. Marko.
As you said before, you and I started doing this thing
about the same time (which is why we battled for the
Best Newcomer award over in the Marvel RPG... I
clearly won though. Whether your Captain America is bludgeoning
my Electro or your Ghost Rider is molesting my
Sandman, we always seem to have really natural
chemistry. Then there's 160, whose work ethic and commitment to
the games I sincerely respect. I remember you once
saying that he was the good cop, you were the bad cop,
and I was the sweaty black police chief who was
gettin' too old for this ****... I always loved that description.
As for Marko, we're both Canadians and he's an
insanely talented storyteller. What's not to like?

The fact you're Canadian!

Yeah, but besides that is what I'm saying...

Now onto everyone's favorite question. What character
would you like to play? No holds barred. Any
character.

I know most people tend to say Spider-Man, but as I
said, I've got my own warped Spider-Man clone so I'm
not as insanely anxious to play the real thing.

Thank god

In the Dawn of Marvels RPG I got to play Wolverine for
a bit and that was really cool. I'd like to do that
again in a more stable environment I think. But he'd
be doing REAL Canadian things! Like living in an igloo
and riding polar bears! None of that fake crap!

So...he'd play ice hockey and eat Candian Bacon? Bacon
my ass, it's goddamn ham!

I'm not really sure what it is. The mystery is part of
its allure.

Amen. Since we have the approval forum now. What's one RPG
you'd like to see made and survive on the hype?

Oh God, I have no idea! Seems like people have been
making RPGs for just about everything! Let's see...
maybe we could have a corporate mascot RPG, where
people could play as Mr. Clean or the Hamburglar or
something. Holy crap! That's an awesome idea! I'm
going to write the application right now!

I call dibs on Tony the Tiger...why? Because
he's.....GGGGRREAT!

Everyone always wants to be Tony the Tiger, why is
that?

Okay, time to bring the interview home. What lies
ahead for you in the RPGs? What are we to see of the
Candian bastard known as Feature?

Well, I'm in for the long haul as Kaine in the Marvel
RPG. He's given May back to her father, but now Norman
Osborn has reared his Gwen-Stacy-boning head so
something will have to be done about that.
I've got huge plans for Xavier in the Ultimate Marvel
RPG, as well as that 'Thunderbolts do California'
thing we've been trying to get out for awhile. Also
look for me to pick Colossus up again and
finish the story I began with him last season.
I've joined the Create-A-Hero RPG recently and I will
soon be joining the Ultimate DC RPG. So all in all,
expanding my horizons.

Okay, that's all I have in the way of questions. Do
you have any final words to our readers before we end
this interview?

Yes! It's too damn hot for a penguin around here! I'm
gonna have to send him back to the South Pole!
...Anyways, you do a really good job with these
interviews, Byrd. I am really touched that you thought
of me. You have always been a pal since day one and I
look forward to continuing our semi-erotic
relationship in the future!

And that ends our interview. I'd like to thank you
once again for coming on, Feature. It was a pleasure.

Oh yes it was. Yes it was indeed.

Now, I'm gonna take a ****...

lol holy **** please put that in the interview!

What? We're still taping this?...Mother fu-

O.O

Sarah so wants to be a part of that!

*forces herself to finish her Sarah post so she can move her character along*
