I would love for someone to buy EA and get rid of the toxic management and start making games as good as possible, making money from quality rather than from monetising a stagnant product. They have access to so many good properties that are being wasted under them.

I'm cool with 6 or 7. Maybe not if I'm in a rush and have seen them all before a load of times, but otherwise I love getting a summary of everything that's coming out.

Thing is I also factor in the trend of "post cred" scenes as well. So now the films actually start later and while sure, you have a chance to disregard the post credits scenes... C'mon, you know that's not happening for A LOT of people. I work overnights and saw AM with two friends at a 11am showing. After the ads, trailers and waiting for the post cred, the drive back to my place... It was close to 3pm. I had got out of work at 7am and have to get up by 9pm to be on the train by 10pm.

What I'm saying is... Hollywood needs to get to work on that Edward Nygma beam **** into your brain tech for the sole purpose of my convenience. :o

And NHL 19 ****in' sucked. Which is, of course, the most unforgivable sin of all.

What I would like is for the pre-film material to last for a specified time - or they give you the time the film will officially start too. So you can choose whether to get there with time to spare and get your seat and food and chill out with trailers, or just get there on time for the film. Right now, if I 'm rewatching something for the 5th time (and will have seen all the attached trailers multiple times), then I try and time it to miss them all and get there for the start of the film but it unfortunately varies too much with each showing and different adverts.

As for the Nygma beam, that benefits everyone - we all want in on that. :cwink:

Are you suggesting that Canadians slap a maple leaf everywhere they possibly can, like Americans do with stars? Because you're absolutely right, and that was very astute of you.

If Reek were a superhero... what would he look like

Well, he has a fancy outfit, he has performed incredible athletic feats, and he has a coordinated taunt routine with his teammates. He could be a Power Ranger.

That also applies to the strippers at the local gentlemen's club.

So... I've conclusively proven that strippers are Power Rangers.

It is getting crazy with trailers before films these days. And that's saying something from me because I actually do like to see trailers before the film. But with the bombardment of ads that currently occur before the trailers start and then maybe six to seven trailers before the feature starts you are looking at like close to a half hour before you actually get to the film. Madness.

That said... The Godzilla trailer on the big screen was impressive as all get out. Glad I caught that one at my Aquaman showing.

What did you think of AM @Guts ?
I really liked it. I thought it was cool that WB is putting some of DC's silver age into the movies with
Aquaman and Mera finding an island of dinosaurs at the center of the earth. One thing I didn't like is the ocean pollution plot line felt like it was dropped. Once Arthur defeats Orm and becomes King that subject doesn't come up again. When Orm wen to the Fisherman Kingdom they told him they would prefer to diplomatically reason with the surface instead of war. So it can be assumed that is what Arthur will do. But I guess the continuation of the plot will be saved for the sequel.

If this is the end for me, I just want you to know that I have nothing but respect for everyone here, and I'm going to drag you all to hell with me.

There... More fitting for Bri.

One count of heresy can be struck off for compensating deeds of worthiness/malice. You have shown promise in your initial reaction.
